Scientific translator/ traducteur scientifique
Traducteur scientifique
Docteur es Sciences spécialité Immunologie
Je propose :
- des traductions de documents scientifiques de l'anglais vers le français pour des laboratoires, des sociétés et des agences de traduction;
2011 - 2012I translate any scientific document in the fields of biochemistry, biophysics, cell biology, immunology, virology and molecular biology from english to french.
I have 18-year experience in laboratory research working on HIV, on the organisation and mechanisms of intracellular pathways. I am able to propose protocols and knows a lot of technical tools as confocal microscopy, RNAi....
2004 - 2010I worked in the laboratory of Pr. Hartley. I was in charge of the cell biology CCR5 project.
How to block HIV penetration through cells. CCR5, a chemokine receptor, has been shown to be essential in HIV entry. CCL5, the natural ligand for CCR5 has been implicated in inhibition of HIV penetration. We have developed chemical CCL5 modified ligands that have been shown to block HIV entry into cells. These ligands induce internalisation of CCR5 into the cell and cause intracellular accumulation of CCR5 inhibiting HIV binding at the cell surface.
2002 - 2003I worked in the laboratory of Pr. Vincent Piguet.
Role of dendritic cells in HIV infection of T lymphocytes
1998 - 2002I worked in the laboratory of Pr. J. Gruenberg on exosomes secreted by B lymphocytes. Exosomes have been described as part of intracellular membranes of late endosomes and implicated in the regulation of the immune system
1995 - 1998I worked in the laboratory of Pr. Hans Geuze.
I characterized the composition of exosomes secreted by B lymphocytes. I was the first to show that proteins of the tetraspanin family were associated with exosomes.
