    SURESNES 2011 - 2013  Oct. 12 to Aug. 13 : Engineering Manager for Subsea 7 Nigeria.
    In addition to my role of Engineering Manager for Ofon 2 project, I created and started the development of the engineering department of Subsea 7 in Nigeria. The department employs about 40 Local and expatriate engineers working on hook-up preparation and completion scopes as well as supporting large EPCI contract such as Erha North Phase 2 for the topside design scope.
     Sept. 11 to Aug. 13 : Engineering Manager on Ofon 2 project (Total E&P Nigeria).
    EPIC contract for 100km of Rigid Flowlines, Spools, Risers and 2 power cables of 5km each, offshore Nigeria in 37m water depth.
    T&I contract for 2 jackets, 2 topsides and 2 bridges in between new and existing topsides.
    Total contract values is about 500 MUSD.

    I was supervising all the design engineering scope done in Nigeria by Global Oceon (44,000 Manhours).
    Scope includes pipeline design and installation analysis, Spools and Risers design and structural design of riser clamps and riser guards.
     Mar. to Sep. 11 : Engineering Manager of Global Oceon (Nigerian Design Engineering Subsidiary of Subsea 7)
    I participated to the growth of Global Oceon. It included managing the engineering team of about 30 pipeline and structure engineers and draftsmen, participating to tendering and prequalification activities and managing small engineering projects.
  • Acergy Singapore Pte Ltd - Engineering Discipline Manager

    2006 - 2011 As part of the engineering management team, I was participating to the development of the growth and the expertise of the engineering department in the AME region (Asia & Middle East). I was leading a group of more than 35 people spread over the region (Perth, Jakarta, Singapore and the joint venture in Kuala Lumpur). My team was supporting projects and tenders for engineering scopes such as Permanent equipment and Installation Aids design, Assets modifications, Welding, Material, Fabrication, Naval Architecture, Structure Lowering Method and Analysis, Pipelay Method and Analysis

    In addition to my role of Discipline Manager, I was:
    • coordinating the Structures discipline seminars, which objectives are to share knowledge, challenges and lessons learned and to set up the Acergy Group’s Best Practices.
    • managing some pre-FEED and FEED studies, pre-qualifications and bids:
     Liuhua FPS mooring disconnection, chain replacement and re-hook-up FEED study for CNOOC (150 kUSD)
     Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA) Pipe Samples welding and mechanical tests for Inpex Ichthys.
     CRA Pipe Samples welding and mechanical tests for Woodside Sunrise.
     Steel Catenary Riser (SCR) and Pipelay installation pre-FEED for Woodside Browse
    • managing the technical part of pre-qualifications and bids:
     Inpex Ichthys Pre-Qualification
     Gorgon Heavy-Lift Pre-Qualification
     2009 – 2011 : Discipline Manager for the Marine, Structure and Pipeline Group
     2006 – 2009 : Discipline Manager for the Design and Fabrication Group.

    Paris 1998 - 2006 Intégré dans des équipes de projets, participation active au développement de champs pétroliers offshore (design, suivi de sous-traitants, procédures d’installation…).
    Missions sur bateaux de pose de conduites flexibles et de construction et plate-formes offshore.

    2004-2006 :Manager de l’équipe structure (8 ingénieurs) du projet DALIA (Total, Angola).
    En charge du design et du suivi de fabrication des équipements liés au développement du champ pétrolier.

    2001-2003 : Manager de l’équipe structure (6 ingénieurs) des projets XIKOMBA (ExxonMobil, Angola), ZAFIRO SEA & Ekango Notch (ExxonMobil, Guinée Equatoriale).

    2000-2001 : Ingénieur structure sur le projet K1A & KEN/C Rigid Sealines (TotalFinaElf E&P Nederland B.V., Pays-Bas).

    En charge du suivi technique du contrat de sous-traitance du test des pipe-lines posées. Représentant client à bord de la plate-forme.

    2000 : Ingénieur sur le Pompage de la cargaison du pétrolier ERIKA (TotalFinaElf, France).
    En charge de la logistique sur la base d’opérations de Brest.
    Mission en mer sur le bateau de support plongée.

    2000 : Ingénieur structure sur le projet TERRA NOVA (Petro-Canada, Terre-Neuve).
    En charge du design d'équipements liés au développement du champ pétrolier.
    1999 : Ingénieur structure sur le projet KUITO Phase 1A & 1B (Chevron, Angola).
    En charge du design d’équipement liés au développement du champ pétrolier.
    Mission en mer pour les opérations de tirage des risers et de test des conduites flexibles après pose à bord de la plate-forme de production.
