Life Project 4 Youth
- Coach and Program Coordinator - Insertion Program for young women in New Delhi
2015 - 2016I went to India for an one-year mission in the Life Project for Youth NGO . This organization is dedicated to the integration of young adults living in extreme poverty and exclusion.
My challenge was to set up a new "Life Project Center" near slum area and to open a new insertion program. By means of entrepreunarial projects operated from my Life Project Center, I coached and accompanied young women towards social and professional inclusion.
Here are the rewarding and motivating challenges of my mission :
ENTREPRENEURSHIP :
- Estate prospection in slum area to find a place to settle the new Life Project Center
- Establishing the layouts of the place renovation and follow-up of the renovation work => 320m2 renovated
- Young adults prospection in slum area to create a new team => more than 15 young women came to the new program
- Development of a new micro-economic activity in the Life Project Center about Renovation of old furnitures => SWOT analysis regarding the market opportunities and sorting, inventory and storage of furnitures
COACHING AND TRAININGS :
- Coaching for personal and professional skills development through individual and collective guidances
- Trainings of English, Business and Professional skills
TEAM AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT :
- Organisation of entrepreneurial projects with the team : Opening Ceremony of the new center => 75 participants, Life Project Plan Presentation Ceremony => 50 participants
- Management of the team through collective and individual challenges
BUDGET MANAGEMENT :
- Responsible for the Center and Program budget and accountability
2014 - 2014- Responsible for the Communication improvement towards users of the Library => creation of a newsletter, flyers and posters
- Creation of a graphic chart
- Study and advice for the Library arrangement => 3 spaces reorganized
- Study and analyse of users’ behavior to improve the Library service => 50 people questionned
