En résumé

Curieux de nature, j'apprends en permanence en toutes choses, car je ne sais rien. Cette ouverture d'esprit m'a conduit à inventer des objets techniques, des concepts, des réponses inédites, et même quelquefois les questions mêmes qui les ont générées.
Si je résumais mes 34 années d'activité, je dirais que c'est l'accompagnement du changement des organisations des entreprises, en s'appuyant sur ses forces vives et leur montée en compétence. En développant mes collaborateurs successifs ou mes différents collègues, j'ai grandi plus qu'eux-mêmes.
Je suis et reste avant tout un ingénieur passionné par la technique et sa justification commerciale au sens le plus large du terme. Cet enracinement sur ces fondamentaux me donne une approche humble, objective et ouverte à tout problème ou situation qui demande mon attention.
Fort de cette expérience je souhaite supporter les projets des entreprises ou des administrations dans les domaines les plus variés, en mettant à leur disposition mes compétences, autant techniques, que commerciales, ou industrielles.

    2018 - maintenant Providing consultancy to achieve projects goals using expertise of mechanical engineering, sales and change management. Built network honed through 34-year experience is feeding the company's activities.
    Key Accomplishments:

    * Designed a mechanism for finding new projects using developed network.
    * Converted a large blank machined from a solid 73 kilograms block of aluminum into a precision casted one. Divided production cost by 3, from EUR 1200 to EUR 395.
    * Delivered the best solution to the clients and achieved required results by implementing that solution.
  • JTEKT Automotive Toyota Group - Sales Manager

    2010 - 2018 JTEKT / Koyo Bearings, Toyota Group - Automotive & Aerospace
    Developed plans and tools for facilitating cultural integration, measurement, and management. Provided strategic leadership and guidance for French customers, OE, tier 1, 2 and several global automotive customers outside of France like Valeo, Robert Bosch (ex ZFLS), Nexteer, in North and South America, The Middle East and Asia. Led the worldwide expertise for Steering systems, Engine applications, and aerospace activity.
    Key Accomplishments:

    * Directed the execution of business development strategies to expand market share.
    * Generated net global sale of EUR 60M, while leading 5 sales engineers, 4 assistants.
    * Provided expert advice on Steering systems, Engine applications and Aerospace, to support both technically and commercially the company's counterpart associates worldwide. This resulted in an additional global turnover of EUR 40M.

    * Enhanced the worldwide volume of universal joint bearings from 110million to 320million items per year, while increasing turnover to factor 5 through adding value on the product and profit.
    * Developed from scratch, new technology, and product for a dual mass flywheel system that will generate a potential turnover of EUR 55 Million when in full production in 2022.
  • TIMKEN Europe - Sales Manager

    2003 - 2009 Supervised all automotive operations in France while directing four engineers. Delivered suggestions for the transition of the organization's goals, processes, and technologies. Managed French customers OE, tier 1&2 and built productive relationships with global automotive customers worldwide.
    Key Accomplishments:

    * Designed a mechanism to enhance product knowledge and commercial expertise in a larger scope.
    * Transferred production to the USA due to a lack of capacity in Europe for PSA.
    * Secured several projects by using product knowledge in China for Nexteer, ZFLS, and Bosch and upgraded technology to support local OE customers.
    * Implemented a new range of tapered roller bearings in PSA large volume transmissions, outperforming competition already in place for more than a decade, boosting volume and profit.

    * Harvested EUR 12M of extra business and enhanced margin by 15%.
  • TORRINGTON France - Sales Manager Europe South and Benelux

    2000 - 2003 Streamlined commercial process of automotive and industrial divisions with the collaboration of five engineers.
    Conducted market research for determined new clients and created new contracts to finalize the deal. Created strategic sales and marketing campaigns aimed at prospective, existing, and former customers to improve sales growth.
    Integrated acquisitions and expanded the sales of acquired businesses.

    Key Accomplishments:
    * Built collaborative rapport and professional communication with team members in holistic areas of business to ensure and maintain working operation in line with company procedures.
    * Provided solutions for automatic transmissions at Renault, PSA, ZF, General Motors, Ford, and Punch Powertrain with significant market share from 50 to 100%.
    * Developed and sold engine control bearings, suspension bearings, transmission gaiter bearings, at Renault, PSA, and Fiat.
    * Developed and sold wing track roller bearings for Rafale and Falcon flight control bearings, Airbus wing track rollers, bearings for Arianne Espace.
