En résumé

I am currently working as a regional financial controller for the Insurance dept of BNP Paribas. I overlook Asia area (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, China and Hong kong), with a closer focus on Japan,Taiwan and China.
I handle all the consolidation, the follow up of the budget and weekly, monthly and quarterly performance, analyse the gaps with budget, and have specific focus that meet the needs of the group, such as profitability analysis, costs analysis, costs controls, and hoc studies to better understand and manage the Asia region.

I was before Financial Controller intern at Moet Hennessy Switzerland (LVMH Group) in Geneva.

    1) Control and Analysis of Financial results
    - perform the consolidation, the analysis and the presentation of the financial results for monthly and quarterly financial results to Regional and Head office.
    - Actively participates to the yearly budget process by providing support to each country, performing analysis of the projections and by making the final presentation to Head Office.
    - Ensure the reliability of the Financial results across Asia
    - Participate to ad hoc presentations and studies for Asia such as New Product analysis, Strategic plan, Profitability studies or Cost model
    - Ensure the accuracy of financial datas for Capital injection, Embedded value calculation and developments projects across Asia region, in close relationship with the Corporate finance in Head Office.

    2) Support to countries and coordination with Head Office
    - Provide Accounting and Management control support to each country, in conjunction with Head Office accounting and mgt control dpt
    - Ensure the follow up of Accountring guidelines from Permanent control
    - Ensure the coordination between HO dpts and countries regarding Finance processes (budget, forecast, closing)
    - Develop a solid expertise in Asia products and profitability pattern to challenge countries and communicate accurately with HO

    3) Communication and alert
    - Communicate the key points and comments to the Finance Manager and CEO
    - Ensure efficient Communication between local/regional/HO Finance depts
