Mathieu Rouget is graduated from AgroParisTech (ex- INA PG) - AgroSup and from EM Lyon.
After having contributed to enforce the position of MEDEF in environment and sustainable development topics through lobbying actions during 2 years, Mathieu joined 123 VENTURE in 2006 as an investor in private equity. In addition to his functions he assumed the management of fund structuring notably dedicated to renewable energy. Then, Mathieu joined the independant asset management firm TOCQUEVILLE FINANCE in 2007 (5 bn€ AUM, ~100 M€ turnover, ~100 FTE) as a Corporate Finance Officer after Mr Thierry has organized a MBO on the company. In addition to his functions he assumed the structuring of private equity activity and launching the first LBO fund within the firm in behalf of Mr Thierry. After having contributed to raise 50 M€ within the FCPR TOCQUEVILLE INVESTISSEMENTS PRIVES, he joined the investment team as a co-founder.
Since he joined the Group CDC in 2011 he contributes to the management of the equity stake portfolio in cleantech companies. Moreover he is an advisor to Mr Ducret and Mr Laffitte on several development projects for CDC Climat.

- Réalisation d'un LBO dans la société Proengin (VE entre 15 et 30 M€ / Stratégie d'investissement : majoritaire)
- Suivi actif de la participation dans proengin (comité de suivi, reporting, définition de la stratégie de croissance à l'international)
2007 - 2009- Gestion opérationnelle du "MBO Tocqueville" (gestion du pool de banques, FCPE, gestion de l'actionnariat en direct, etc.)
- Gestion des participations pour compte propre (achat, vente, suivi)
- Développement de nouvelles lignes métiers (private equity et multigestion alternative)
- Participation au process de vente de Tocqueville Finance à la Banque Postale
