  Je contribue à l'extraction des connaissances à partir de données (data mining) et les utilise dans le cadre de la biologie des systèmes afin de définir de nouvelles thérapies qui devront être testées par notre équipe de recherche in vitro et in vivo. J'ai déjà contribué à trois projets de thérapie et suis actuellement entièrement en charge de deux autres projets.

  Technical skills: I am experienced in a diverse number of methods used in biomedical research:
  Molecular Biology: PCR/RT-PCR, RNA/DNA manipulation, cloning, 5’ RACE (Rapid Amplification of 5’cDNA ends), propagation of DNA in E. coli, plasmid isolation, DNA sequencing (ABI), Real Time PCR (ABI-Stratagene), gene expression knockdown by siRNA, ChIP (Chromatin immunoprecipitation).
  Molecular Genetics: SNP screening by sequencing, genotyping, promoter-reporter systems.
  Cell Biology: eukaryotic cell culture (primary cells and cell lines), immunofluorescence, cell transfection, luciferase reporter gene assays.
  Statistical analysis: standard and genetic approaches.
  
  Other skills: I developed good organisational skills as I have worked on deadlines requiring good time management.
  All through my career, I have worked in multidisciplinary groups and showed a capacity to work actively as part of a team as well as independently.
  As a PhD and as a research fellow, I contributed to the supervision of undergraduate and PhD project students.
  I developed good oral communication skills during the numerous talks and seminars I have given. The publications I have produced also show my high written communication skills.
  In addition to my pure research abilities, I set up a real time PCR co-facility, including providing training and expertise to other users.
