  • RENAULT - Production Manager

    Boulogne-Billancourt 2011 - 2014 Managed operations of an Aluminum casting workshop producing cylinder-blocs, gearbox and converter housings ; 7 casting machines (1650 and 2000 tons); TO: 15M€/year ; 28 unionized operators, 7 foremen and 2 technicians (process and mold).
    Improved the casting unit in terms of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Productivity (TdC):
    o Performed a health and safety risk estimation study and Defined and Managed the machine and process securing project (investment of 250K€).
    o Reduced the work incident number (all levels included): 6 on 2011 to 2 on 2014.
    o Succeeded to reduce the number of parts in stock waiting for decision, from the 6 months average of 8000prt on 2011 to 500prt in 2014 (400K€ to 25K€).
    o Improved the delivery score: 67% on 2011 to 88% on 2014 (for a plant target of 92%).
    o Improved operational performance of the unit: 28% on 2011 to 55% in 2014.
  • General Motors - Project Management - Master’s Degree Apprenticeship

    Argenteuil 2011 - 2011 • Managed the “Warehouse insourcing project” (1000 part n°, 4500 palettes, 170K€ on 6 months).
    • Defined the warehouse lay-out (15000 m²) to optimize the material and information flows.
    • Defined the process details and standard documents for future activities in warehouse: reception, quality control, material flows, repacking, preparation of Picking and Kitting parts.
    • Implemented and adapted warehouse management IT system and set its parameters and variables.
    • Defined team structure and required profiles, interviewed and built 2 teams of 10 people
  • De Dietrich Thermique - Technological research project: “LEAN Manufacturing” Implementation - Internship

    Niederbronn 2010 - 2011 • Optimized the material and information flows and applied pull flow.
    • Down sized the buffer tank stock before assembly lines by 70% (from 150'000€ to 50'000 €).
    • Established Performance Indicators to monitor the supplier reliability in terms of deliveries.
