Reporting directly to the CEO, primary objective is to actively participate in the Al Rajhi Takaful launch by setting up the Corporate Department and achieving targets

- Set Up and run the Corporate Sales department: define the structure, hire first and second line reports, elaborate the strategy and business plan including sales objectives by distribution channel, establish the process mapping with external and internal stakeholders, define Sales Executive incentive plans (bonus and/or commission), open & staff two Regional Offices as well as 8 new Branches, coordinate with Technical & Operations Departments for Product specifications and establish internal operational SLA, work jointly with Retail to develop Cross selling opportunities & referral systems, develop Department in accordance with Shariah & local authorities rules & principles;
- Manage existing portfolio of Non Life business (USD45m) while developing opportunities with key accounts and prospects;
Note: Al Rajhi Takaful is part of Al Rajhi Group, which owns amongst other, the largest Islamic bank in the world

- In charge of the Regional (13 countries) Credit Life Insurance Department;
- Managed P&L and direct activities to increase top (x6 to USD66m) and bottom lines;
- Actively participate in Sales and Business Development, especially international key accounts (HSBC, Citibank etc.);
- Spearheaded effort to re-engineer the back office to accommodate growth and increase service standards;
- Initiated and drove new product initiatives including SME, Micro-insurance and Takaful business;
- Facilitated relationship with re-insurers in view of technical results and strategy (pooling, retention limits...);
- Developed cross-selling efforts with other Departments or Distribution channels;
- Provide technical & organizational support to develop Sales and Back Office staff.

- Responsible to cross sell Bancassurance products to existing financial clients;
- Create a ‘Bancassurance culture’ throughout the local offices network, setting priorities and strategy, coordinating local programs, supporting and assisting local offices for sales – first broker to launch Unemployment Insurance in Malaysia, quote Unemployment in Turkey, Russia, South Korea, Peru, Mexico, and Venezuela after negotiating and establishing re-insurance or direct insurance support;
- Direct management of all projects, on a direct basis or through the local team;
- Responsible for product diversification and development to broaden Bancassurance offer (Motor GAP, Mortgage Indemnity, Income/Bill Protection, Mobile Phone Insurance, Credit Cards adds-on…)

- Managed key international clients, with a strong focus on Creditor/ Payment Protection Insurance;
- Set up new schemes on behalf of clients, negotiating rates and commissions, organizing local fronting and international pooling of premiums though re-insurance and captives, follow up of projects, maintain existing business standards (taxes / legal) and profitability (results, commissions, profit sharing, rates);
- Actively developped accounts through DM/TM channels and product diversification (AD, Assistance, Health)
- Working mainly in France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Belgium, UK and Argentina;
