R&D MANAGEMENT

• Management of R&D laboratories (teams up to 16 professional and support personnel with a budget of 2.800 k €) dedicated to both the technical development/launching of new products and to the technical support for the manufacturing of existing products for the Automotive Polyurethane flexible foam activities in Europe and USA.
• Management of production lines for automotive moulded seats, optimisation of the quality and safety records.
• Co-ordination and selection of technical projects between USA and Europe.
• Holder of and key contributor to patents covering both discovery and applications in the field of Polyurethanes.

PROJECTS MANAGEMENT

• Key contributor of multi-disciplined teams (R&D, Marketing, Production) responsible for the development of new products in fast growth and high value (Europe/USA).
• Co-ordination and implementation of technology transfers


TECHNICAL STRATEGY AND BUSINESS

• Marketing study of Polyurethanes used in the automotive and bedding industry, benchmarking of products offered by competition, assessment of advantages and drawbacks for new products, technology awareness for new forthcoming legislations (fire, toxicity, recycling).
• Drafting of licences for exclusivity on patented products (bedding/automotive), based on Specifications related to especially developed new test methods (comfort, voc, odours).
• Commercial and Technical evaluation of current and forthcoming needs for the new Polyurethane markets (Asia).
• Analyses of present/future business synergies linked to the take over of competing activities.
• Development of special sales programs to support the promotion and launching of new products.

CORPORATE REPRESENTATION AND COMMUNICATION

• Launching and co-management of several technical partnerships with major raw material suppliers, Universities.
• Corporate Representative for my different Companies to Industry Associations and National Laboratories both in Europe and USA.
• Speaker at international symposiums (SPI, UTECH, EUROMOULDER).Author of several technical papers.
