    2013 - 2016 This work was included in the DAMREG project and financed by the European Research Council (ERC). It focuses on the incidence of the glass composition and atomic network structure on the mechanical properties, and specifically on the cracking and fracture behavior.

    This PhD focused on studying the mechanical behavior of dielectric glasses and was articulated around three axes.

    - To identify, synthesize and characterize glasses with high dielectric properties
    - To study and optimize the mechanical properties of the chosen glasses
    - To understand the potential effect of an electric field on glasses
