2013/2014 Nigeria 3384M$ EPCC Offshore Project, Head of QA/QC - PHC, « GAS Industry, OFON Phase 2 Project » (TOTAL E&P Nigeria TEPNG).
The purpose of the OFON2 Phase 2 Project is to stop the continuous flaring in the field and monetize the associated gas by exporting in to the NLNG Bonny Plant via AMENAM facilities, develop additional oil reserves by drilling 39 new wells in new sectors and in the developed area and to install living quarters on site to allow efficient operation of the facilities.
The Scope of Work is to build the following:
- New production, water treatment and gas compression complex OFP2, bridge linked to the existing OFP1
- Two new satellite well-head platforms OFD-S (OFD5) and OFD-NE (OFD3)
- New living quarters platform OFQ bridge linked to OFP2
- 39 new wells to be drilled or converted in two campaigns
- Infield lines and cables
- A new 12” gas Export line to Amenam
- Oil export to ODUDU through existing 12” line.

• Realisation of LNG (Cryogenic tank) with capacity of 150000m³: Natural gas can be cooled and liquefied in order to allow natural gas to be economically transported over great distances. In its liquid form natural gas occupies only 1/600th of its normal volume and has a temperature of around -162°C.
Typical LNG plant is comprised of the following units:
– Feed gas compression, in case the natural gas pressure is low
– CO2 removal, mostly by a wash process and drying or H2O removal by an absorber (CO2
and H2O would otherwise freeze and cause clogging in the downstream liquefaction equipment)
– Natural gas liquefaction
– LNG storage
– LNG loading stations
LNG metering stations As well as the following utilities:
– A mixed refrigerant cycle make-up and boil off gas handling system
– Gas turbine with waste heat recovery for hot oil heating
– Other utilities
