Currently employed as a Field Services Engineer for General Electric Power Conversion in Belfort (France). A leading organization specialized on marine Electrical Propulsion System (high power converters) up to 24 MW.

With over three years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, worldwide including one year as a commissioning engineer in South Korea (Mokpo, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries shipyard).
My expertise extends over the entire electrical power plant, from the Generators, Alternators, Switchboards, Propulsion transformers, converters, breaking resistors, rotating machines, distribution High and Low Voltage without forgetting all the associated automation system including IAS. This experience, exclusively abroad, developed my independence, my expertise in energy conversion, commissioning with multi-cultural teams, problems and costs management. the Safety and EHS on site and the entire management of tens of millions euros of equipments on site.
i possess proven capabilities to troubleshoot and fault analysis of the Electrical Propulsion System using the propulsion system's data and the Perturbo fault finding software.

    2014 - maintenant As an Experimented Field Service Engineer,

    • I work in a field service organization specializing in Marine Electrical Propulsion Systems up to 24MW.
    • Responsible for providing Worldwide emergency service for all the GE / Converteam Energy marine propulsion systems (SD7000, MV7312 & MV7318).
    • Provide a service engineering during dry-dock to GE clients such as MSC, Celebrity Cruise Lines, Costa Cruise Lines, Dynagas, Maran Gas, Cardiff, Awilco, Megayacht Ocean Victory, military and scientific vessels.
    • Perform hardware and software modifications to the Electrical Propulsion System.
    • Troubleshooting and fault analysis of the propulsion control system.
    • Follow-up all the new LNG ship fitted with the new drive technology MV7312 & MV7318 (B&R & PECe) and support the fleet managers to troubleshoot, organize and solve the different issues encountered.
    • Carry out some duty 24 hours, 7 days a week.
    •Train all the new FSE on the new drives technology.
  • General Electric - Commissioning Engineer

    Paris 2013 - 2014 Commissioning of two LNG ships in South Korea (Mokpo, HSHI Shipyard), my mission was to carry out all commissioning of the Electrical Propulsion System such as the switchboard, the propulsion transformers, the drives MV7318, the propulsion motors, the entire process cubicle and all the automation from the wheelhouse, engine control room, and converter room.

    I was in charge to follow-up the supervision of the drives with the contractor during all the phases of the commissioning (external wiring, electrical design, and installation of new equipment) and coordinate the tests with the contractor (HSHI), the classification (ABS) and the owner in order to validate all the requirements of the EPS.
    I managed the sea trials, gas trials until the delivery of the ships and the first crossing as a warranty engineer.

    Paris 2012 - 2013 As a Field Service Engineer,
    My mission was to troubleshoot the Electrical Propulsion System of the ships worldwide:
    The main tasks carried out through my missions consisted in:
    - Performs troubleshooting activities at site locations, diagnose mechanical and electrical failures,
    determines appropriate resolution, and implements corrective actions for the Electrical Propulsion System.
    - Performs Electrical Motor, drives installation and commissioning activities at customer site locations. Must be able to work unsupervised and leading small teams.
    - Under the direction of a Experimented engineer, performs a wide range of engineering tasks to ensure the technical integrity and proper installation and commissioning of GE systems.
    - Develops presentations, technical reports and provides training and instruction to customers on system operations.
    - Provides continuous, 24 hour by 7 day a week, support in response to customer calls for service.
