Robert Vargas

ROBERT VARGAS est un écrivain deux fois récompensé aux Emmy Awards (2008 et 2009). Il est diplômé de l'Université de Californie à Berkeley, USA (B.A. en littérature anglaise) et débute sa carrière en 1998 dans les studios de Georges Lucas, Industrial Light and Magic comme animateur de la division film. En 1999, il devient directeur de l'animation à So! Animation (New York). Il rejoint l'équipe de Nick Jr. en 2000 en tant que chef des artistes de storyboard dans le cadre de l'émission régulièrement primée, Bill Cosby's "Little Bill". Pendant cette période, il occupe le même poste sur l'émission "Wonder Pets!" et sur "Little Einsteins" de Disney. En 2005, il crée le pilote de "Lolly and the Pipsqueaks" pour Nick Jr. Un an plus tard, il devient directeur des scénarios de "Word World" pour PBS Kids. Il est nommé producteur délégué et responsable des scénaristes de "Word World Jr." en 2007. En 2008, il remporte un Emmy Award pour sa contribution à l'écriture de "Main Title Design" de "Word World". En 2009, il remporte son deuxième Emmy Award dans la catégorie "Outstanding Writing for Animation".

ROBERT VARGAS is a two-time Emmy award-winning writer based in Paris and New York. He received a 2009 "Outstanding Writing for Animation" Daytime Emmy for his work on "Word World" which is broadcast in the U.S. on PBS Kids. In 2008, he won an Emmy for his writing and directing contribution to the "Main Title Design" of "Word World." Robert began his career at Georges Lucas' Industrial Light and Magic as an animimatic artist, later becoming animation director for So! Animation (NYC). Robert served as storyboard supervisor for Bill Cosby's Emmy award-winning "Little Bill" (Nick Jr.), Playhouse Disney's "Little Einsteins," and the Nick Jr. series "The Wonder Pets!" He served as story director and staff writer for PBS Kids' "Word World" as well as a freelance staff writer for PBS's "Seemore's Playhouse" before being named head writer and co-exectuive producer of "Word World Jr." Robert is the co-creator/producer of the Nick Jr. pilot "Lolly and the Pipsqueaks." He attended The University of California at Berkeley where he received a B.A. in English Literature and Composition.
