Rojo Ratsimandresy
Postdoctoral research associate - Immunology -RFUMS
Since 2006, I hold an engineering degree from the ESIL school, after a 6-month internship at AMGEN Inc (California, USA). My work there consisted in designing and conducting, under limited supervision, some post-marketing investigations following a request from the European agency for the European Medicines Agency(EMEA).
Since December 2009, I hold a PhD in immunology (major) & bioinformatics (minor). During my thesis, I have demonstrated the efficacy of the active anti-IL23p19 immunization against collagen-induced arthritis.
Since January 2010, as part of Peptinov SAS, I participate in the development the previously identified immunogens derived from IL-23p19 into therapeutic compositions for use in the treatment of human inflammatory conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis.
I am working today as a postdoctoral research associate at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago. My research topic articulates around the inflammasome and the mechanisms of infection of some pathogenic bacteria. Please inquire for more information.
2010 - 2011- Development of lead immunogens derived from IL-23 for use in therapeutic vaccines against inflammatory diseases.
- Identification and validation (POC) of new therapeutic cytokine targets in inflammatory diseases
