En résumé

Since my childhood I have always been impassioned by technology and more particularly that related to health. I am most proud of having being able to bring new technical solutions to assist doctors and medical technicians and thus to improve the quality of health care.
The above personal record was the result of a double training: first as a general engineer followed by a master degree in research in medical imagery.

I began my career in the research sector, by developing advanced medical software (a program for compression of images and a software of 3D reconstruction).
On the basis of this positive experience, I wished to integrate the industrial sector into my skills range and profit from my knowledge of science. To have a comprehensive view of the needs of the medical institutions, I started to work in the integration of hospital information systems (HIS, RIS, PACS, ...).

With an overall vision of the need for IT solutions, I directed my career towards customer support for medical equipment at SIEMENS. The objective was to bring me closer to the medical community by providing it with my expert knowledge and ability in medical computing.

My investment brought a good return, because nowadays, all medical equipment has become inter-connected, with software layers and networks.
Today, my goal is to bring me a little closer to the end users, by selling solutions adapted to their needs.

I am therefore in search of a comprehensive position which combines technical and commercial skills, such as those of a product engineer.
In the future, I would like to continue in a commercial activity while at the same time keeping my technical curiosity active and vibrant.

    -Provides feedback to headquater engineering group based on results of complaint and technical investigations.
    -Support and maintenance of the IT products, PACS (Picture and Archiving Communication Systems) and RIS (Radiology Information System)
    -Monitoring and support of new imaging system releases

    2010 - 2012 - Implementation of the clinical software, working from the solution design up to the deployment on site.
    - Develop software evolutions in regards to customers and IT integration needs.
    - Interface with other functions such as, Marketing, Global Product Management, Technical Operations and R&D to gain resolution for product issues.
    - Provide technical analysis to Presales team and assist them in applying tenders.
    - Support product managers throughout the V-Model

  • ETSEIB/UPC Barcelona - Spain - R&D Engineer - 3D Medical imagery

    2009 - 2009 - Research center in Biomedical Engineering - ETSEIB/UPC (Escola Tècnica Superior d' Enginyers Industrials de Barcelona/Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya Barcelona) Barcelona (Spain).

    - Development of a new software for an interactive edition of 3D Medical models (based on voluminal and surface image processing).
    - Create the product under physicians and scientists controls, from the level design, up to the sale and deployment in the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona
    - Adapt throughout the V-Model the software development, in regards to customer needs.
    - Present the software to the Clinical Data-processing Congress Barcelona INFORMED 2009.
  • Regional University Hospital of Angers - France - R&D Developer - Medical imagery

    2008 - 2009 Laboratory of Engineering of the Automated systems - CHRU Angers (49).

    - Develop a medical image processing software, to evaluate the quality of JPEG2000 compression on histological colored images.
    - Research and development of new algorithms of quality evaluation.
    - Implementation of a Visual Predictor Difference program (VDP), based on World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) scientists researches.The new feature was to predict the perceptible differences by the human eye (JND).
    - Create the product under physicians and scientists controls, from the level design up to the deployment in the Regional University Hospital of Angers (France)
    - Train radiologists and scientits on the product.
  • PACKARD BELL - Electronics & Data processing Technician

    Roissy en France 2007 - 2007 - Beta-tester of desktops.
    - Prepare and test the computers/servers for Professional and general public sectors.
    - Perform a lot of controls on benches of Tests for different configurations.
    - Qualify and validate the new products of the Packard Bell ranges before the sales.
    - Develop relations with internal teams such as customer support engineers, electromagnetic compatibility assessment based in China, and data-processing development services.
    - Work with the engineering services around the World (China and India).
