After a specialization in business development towards international companies, I joined MCA bénélux to develop and to become responsible for the Aeronautics Business Unit.
2007 - 2009Responsible for the sales within the Northern half of the UK, I was based in CERMEX subsidiary in Huntingdon (near Cambridge).
I was responsible for the prospection and commercial follow up of projects.
I was the interface between customers overall requirements and our internal standards, rules, policies, technical limitations, making the link between internal staff, suppliers and client deciders.
Key account manager for key customers of CERMEX, I was involved in strategy and communication so as to developp sales and services as much as possible, liaising with the rest of the CERMEX world force.
Realisations: 2009 : Customers and prospects database more than doubled. Overall turnover : more than 2,000,000€ sales realized.
2007 - 2007Attached to Arcelor Research, I was in charge of optimizing the thickness regularities of the DWI steel coils (steel for tins, the hardest to manufacture) produced in the rolling cold mill (Tandem 2) on the AVILES factory in Spain.
In relation with the production department, I was in charge of the tests to be carried on the mill to gather a set of measures aiming at bettering the thickness of the steel sheet, either longitudinally and transversally.
This study belonged to a vast optimizing project, I was hence in relation with other factories from ARCELOR within the whole EUROPE.
2006 - 2006SAFT is the world leader in manufacturing batteries for satellites.
Based at the factory in Poitiers (86), within the "Satellites" division, I was responsible for reorganizing the ordering of batteries tools (specific and expensive tools) that take part of the batteries building process.
The mission consisted in setting up a database software under Microsoft ACCESS, developed internally by a SAFT Engineer and myself. Around this main objective, the tasks were essentially auditing people (quality) to answer users needs while complying with direction requirements and CEE standards for production.
Once the database has been settled up, my mission consisted in making relevant documentation and training for the end users. This database is still in activity today.
