2009 - 2009Position held for 8 months.
o Various rotational work assignments on drilling-rigs (mainly in Australia) as mud-logger geologist in order to give assistance and support to the drilling crew, monitoring drilling parameters.
o Within the mud-logging department, my task is to monitor the drilling parameters during the drilling operations in order to deliver gas while drilling, geological data, hydrocarbon data, surface drilling data, downhole data to the drilling crew.
o As an engineer, my task within the technical department is to work closely with specialists on the development of the next mud-logging equipment.
2007 - 2008Final Year Internship consisting of six months within the Subsea Production System (SPS) team - based in Cameron Ltd’s facilities in Leeds,UK - of the Akpo Project (Nigerian deep-offshore oil and condensate field).
o Integrated within the TOTAL’s management team based in the contractor’s facilities (Cameron Ltd) which is in charge of the design, the manufacture, the tests programmes and the deliveries of the SPS equipment.
o Management and monitoring of the production, tests and inspections of the equipment on the shop-floor (particularly for the CHC - Cameron Horizontal Connector - subsea connections systems ) in order to be sure of their conformity with specifications and the project’s schedule.
o Schedule checking and writing of progress reports for the project manager.
o Pre-commissioning dossier and commissioning activities for the start-up of the subsea connections system (using ICAPS).
o Leader of a 6-sigma project (Green Belt Level 1&2 delivered by a Cameron Master Black Belt).
2006 - 2006A four month internship based in Cameron Ltd’s facilities - in Leeds,UK - within the SPS team of the Akpo Project.
o Familiarization with a new type of equipment for the deep-offshore hydrocarbon’s production (1500 m depth).
o Testing of the equipment and validation of tests program checking the tests results are in accordance with TOTAL’s specifications - especially for the X-mas tree, whellhead, EDP and LRP, tubing hanger.
o Engineering verification attending various meetings, using blueprints or software as SolidWorks for instance.
o Compilation of a recapitulative dossier about the evolution of the design and the testing program of the IWOCS umbilical (Intervention and WorkOver Control System).
2005 - 2005Section engineer - at Eiffage Construction Sud aquitaine in Pau,France - on a building site:
o Ordering materials to the supplier.
o On-site meeting to follow-up the progress.
2004 - 2004Internship in an AREAVA T&D plant (Lattes, France).
o Responsible of the testing ground for subcontracted electronic cards.
