2012 - 2012 In charge of assessing the feasibility to transform the Orange Switzerland mobile ecosystem (based on an OTT model) into a 4P IPTV one (Project SKY MTV – 1M users)
This opportunity and feasibility study required multiple travels to Lausanne in order to drive workshops with international stakeholders (Swisscom, StreamGroup, Netstream)
Results of this study have been presented to the APAX Hedge fund in order to help the steering committee to decide which approach (offensive or defensive) should be chosen for the next 5 years.
  • Orange France - Enterprise Architect

2010 - 2012 Responsible of the whole IPTV ecosystem, my role was to ensure its deployment in order to keep the ecosystem in phase with the enterprise business needs.
This, relies on multiple service platforms, including numerous enablers (4 million users) and a significant budget (about 60 M€)
This role led me to develop a transversal data model to allow impact analysis and the development of various documents (GAD, TAS, HLD/LLD, baseline, master plans)
I was in charge of leading this project and designing the relevant architecture, a strategic and complex project for France Telecom.
In addition, as an Architect leader, I was in charge of managing studies of the services platforms scalability, to design and deploy a solution allowing the growth of the IPTV ecosystem, parallel to the DRP conception and deployment solution and was, also, in charge of studying the feasibility of deploying FBN (Flexible Backhaul Network) in order to implement IPV6 capabilities all over the TV services platforms.
  • Editions Francis Lefebvre - Enterprise Architect

As a consequence of the severe gap between needs and service provision, it was decided to deep-transform the network core and to realign the IT service provision with the business processes (BPM, BAM)
I initiated this business transformation through the development and deployment of a whole virtual infrastructure model based on VmWare solutions.
I drove the institutional website evolution by implementing a CAS/IDP open source solution that permits a user to access multiple applications while providing its credential once.
I worked closely with collaborators from Spain, UK and Italy.
Also, i led studies to build and deploy a scheduling solution ($U) and improve EAI/BI capabilities (Websphere, SpagoBI)

My other role consisted in studying a hosting solution for the financial application (WinFi) across the corporate business units (3000 M€ turnover)
I have been involved since the beginning of this project as France was pilot site.
I worked very closely with the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services in order to understand the investment and banking specificities (SOX and Basel 2 constraints)
As an expert of SAN technologies, I conceived the architecture that ensures this solution remained “high availability”, through the development and implementation of a business continuity plan.
In addition i led studies to enhance databases performances and harden the overall security (intrusion tests and performances audit) and contributed to ITIL implementation (Knowledge Management and CMDB)
  • Data-Technologie - Enterprise Architect & Co-owner

2005 - 2007 As a co-director of my own company (5 persons – 500K€ turnover), specializing in IT outsourcing for small and medium sized enterprises, my role was to develop new business by (for example) developing responses to tenders, and then assuring delivery onto client sites in addition with the usual enterprise management tasks.
My enterprise architect role continued and I conceived and deployed various solutions such as web survey for Siemens Security, TOIP with Asterisk, and High availability systems with DRBD/Heartbeat.
I also managed the IP network upgrade project for a Mercedes-Benz authorized service dealer, comprising 1 main site and 5 satellites – 700 users).
I also supervised trainees involved into a project of requirement life-cycle modelization.
  • Declic 2000 informatique - Enterprise Architect

I was deployed in several operational areas such as Kosovo, Ivory Coast, Central African Republic and Lebanon.
This rich experience furnished me with life skills, especially in areas such as stress management, communication and leadership and dealing calmly with others in stressful situations.
During my final year in the armed forces I was educated to Masters Level in engineering to prepare me for a civilian role.
Having completed my MSc, I returned to operational duties for a final 6 month tour of duty within the field of security – deploying my “new” architecture skills (EBIOS Methodology)
This duty strengthened my security credentials and afforded me the opportunity to develop an understanding of the telecommunications industry.
Finally, I deployed a coherent and scalable monitoring/reporting solution for Military Strategic Zones (Ammunition and fuel areas)
