    2008 - 2013 I work as a research and development engineer in a team that develops the edition dedicated to the post-processing of fluid dynamics of the scientific visualization software Avizo.

    After a PhD in applied mathematics and CFD, my work mainly consists in developing mathematical methods and algorithms for this post-processing.

    My knowledge in CFD also allows me to take part in various actions:

    * I have a consulting role. I took part in the choice of new features to be developed and in the writing of the functional and technical specifications for Avizo Wind edition, dedicated to CFD.

    * I am a privileged interlocutor for users working in the CFD field. For example, I developed dedicated functionalities and I should soon give a training.

    * I am still doing some numerical simulation in order to create demonstrations, tutorials and test-cases, as tools for the development, validation and testing of Avizo Wind.

    * I help the marketing team in promoting Avizo Wind.

    Finally, I should soon take part in the writing of the specifications of features dedicated to structural mechanics. Of course I should take part in the developments as I did for CFD.
  • IFP (Institut Français du Pétrole) - Research engineer

    2004 - 2007 As a PhD at IFP, I worked in the Applied Mathematics Department and close to the Mechanics Department on the optimization of a well pump for crude oil.

    For this optimization, I developed an optimization code coupled with the CFD solver Fluent, which I used for the numerical modeling of the turbulent flow in the pump.

    With this work I experienced all the aspects of a research project such as technology watch, project meetings, reports and publications writing, oral presentations in congresses and conferences.
  • Université Technique du Danemark (DTU) - Research assistant

    2003 - 2004 I have spent 6 months in Denmark working with the TOPOPT team. I did some programming investigations on the subject of combined shape and topology optimization for mechanisms.
    This was also a great opportunity to discover Copenhagen :)
