    Grasse 2003 - 2014 Since 1833, TOURNAIRE Equipment is committed to providing its customers turn-key process units for pharmaceutical, chemical, perfumes and flavours applications.

    Our highly customized solutions may include vacuum evaporators (wiped film and falling film technology), filter dryers, dryers, solid-liquid solvent extractors, batch/continuous distillation columns, short path evaporators...

    As a sales engineer, my missions include:
    - Business development, by visiting national and international customers, attending specialized fairs (Achema, CPhI, …), organising marketing events, …, out of specific inquiries,
    - Building technical and commercial offers, for customers’ inquiries, including preliminary P&I Diagrams, preliminary sizing of components and equipment, light calculations for heat and mass transfer,
    - Direct commercial negotiation, with contracts amounts that may reach several millions
    - During engineering phase of contracted projects, when required, detailing of technical specifications for components that have a direct impact on the process (column internal packings, pumps, valves, sensors, vacuum systems, functional analysis for automated units…),
    - Commissioning of projects, incl. FAT & SAT qualification, training of customers’ operators,
    - Labscale trials at Tournaire facilities, for specific needs or innovation studies.

    Sales are worldwide, with frequent travels abroad. Customers vary from multinational groups to small family-owned companies.

  • Pechiney Flexible Packaging Europe - SPAIN - Production Manager

    1999 - 2003 Flexible packaging for the pharmaceutical and food industries.

    Responsibilities included:
     Direct man-management of 25 workers,
     Production planning and control,
     Maintenance management,
     Set up of a Continuous Improvement plan.
     Also held the position of safety manager.
  • Pechiney Rhenalu - Continuous Improvement Leader

    Paris 1998 - 1999 Aluminium coils production for the automotive, aeronautic and packaging industry.

    Animating and developing Continuous Improvement projects among different services of the organisation, from financial to production departments.
