  • Cartier - Far East Manager

    Paris 1999 - 2004 * Managing Cartier's biggest customer: * Territory covered (10 countries): Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Guam,
    Hawaii, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, US (west coast)

    * Responsible for 8 Boutiques and around 65 POS ;
    * Direct reporting staff: 15 (including 8 Managers) ;
    * Complete P&L responsibilities (yearly turnover of USD 50M),
    * Responsible for all brand related aspects (network, communication,
    staff management, promotions and results).

    * Managed to improve margins despite tough environment ;
    * Repositioned the brand in this network ;
    * Established stronger position vs. this important but difficult customer.

    Also GM Richemont Guam:
    * Set-up of Guam subsidiary ;
    * Opening of new concept flagship Boutique
    * All P&L responsibilities ;
    * Exceeded 1st year objectives by 20%.
    Area Manager (India):

    * Responsible for Cartier in India. ;
    * Complete restructuring of the network, including space renegotiation
    and upgrade of all POS to new concept,

    * Renegotiated distributors contracts and set up of Richemont liaison
    office in Mumbai.

    * Rationalized merchandising (introduction of assortments, reporting
    and replenishment systems),

    * Hiring of dedicated staff
    * Achieved growth of 60% on 2 years period.

    * Focus on all brand-related aspects of Thai and Vietnamese domestic

  • Luxury Eyewear International (Richemont) - Assistant to the Managing Director

    1997 - 1999 * Export responsibilities overlooking the Near East,
    Africa. Distribution of CARTIER, MONTBLANC and Alfred DUNHILL
    eyewear. In charge of all aspects of the distribution in these territories.

    * Main achievements included the ``Cleaning'' of our Cartier eyewear
    distribution in the Middle East and the successful launches of
    Montblanc Eyewear and Alfred Dunhill Eyewear.
