But when you get right down to it, I’m much more!
Indeed, I’m an atypical Millennial.
As a former semi-professional chess player I have an innate understanding of concepts such as big-picture Planning, long term Strategy and Daily Operational Management. Moreover, I learned that creativity and continuous hard work are two key components of success.
During the past two years, I have worked for start-ups in New York and California, where cloud computing and online advertising were my main focus. As a proactive people person, I am quick to leave my comfort zone and rapidly blend in with a new team. Since I was able to show great dedication in meeting deadlines and budget demands, I was given more responsibility and projects such as being in charge of website development, impacting marketing material and implementing BI tools.
The achievements I am most proud of are (1) being French-Finalist of the Microsoft® Imagine Cup® (Innovation category), (2) managing a wide project of 15 people where we engineered and developed a credit card reader, and (3) getting fluency in Spanish during my one-year-stay in Madrid.
Besides that, I’m a tech-entrepreneur passionate about Fitness, the Human mind, Data Science, Cyber-Security, CSR, Education of CS, Start-ups, I.o.T. and Innovation.
I trust that my mixed background in IT and Management provides me with analytical and organizational skills benefiting any company.
I’m not the Project Manager who just wants to manage. I’m the PM who actually wants to ideate, plan, create, lead and deliver value to customers and people around me. This is what I do best and love most.
