    Speculative raw material : Dairy products, cocoa, wheat : 8 million EUR
    Capex : different kind of machine or full line : yearly 1 million EUR

  • Chinese Sourcing - Project Manager

    2005 - 2010 Chinese Sourcing Project Manager :Name of the company : KSB : 130 Million EUR turnover, 400 employees.
    * Facilitation of the sourcing team : I arrive at the early begenning of the project, i made up the team (R&D, QC, QM, logistics, French and Chinese), we set up for the plant all the supply chain, establish the delivery procedure. When things goes well, the suppliers were, drived by us, at our collegues disposal for new development. I was working for German, Spanish and Frech plants. ;
    * Full project management, including investment and budget. ;
    * Europe supplier management :We define a strategy to keep the EUR suppliers for more safety, and to be able to deliver customer that request short order lead time. ;
    * Reporting : I was responsible for performance indicator reporting to the Purchasing Doctor.

    More than 3 Millions EUR Savings in 5 years.

    Genevilliers 2005 - 2010 Responsable de la mise en route et du développement du sourcing sur la zone Asie (CHINE- INDE- Dubaï) sur des produits de fonderies et pièces usinées pour le secteur de la robinetterie Industrielle.

    2004 - 2005 European leader on Road signs Market (Burelle Group), 230 millions turnover and 800 employees.
    Several purchasing facilities, with 5% savings and rationalisation of the supplier portfolio target/:

    * Hand tooling : 80 suppliers across France and 1000 products, for only 1 million purchasing. Contract set up with a limited number of references, other investments submitted to manager validation. Finally only 1 supplier. ;
    * Electricity : Complete purchasing process including ERP modification (SAP) Target 5%, done 9% saving, but 2 suppliers chose because of short lead time(no vmi possibilities) 220K EUR savings. ;
    * Safety equipments : SAP cleaning, internal negociation to reconsider the real need / existing equipment and negotiation with supplier to implement the data base, the location of the storage, finally to ensure everything goes fine with the new model by reporting. 20% saving (80K EUR ) ;
    * Taste for this Job, negotiation, willing to convince, to begin by the real need.
