Sophia Antipolis2014 - maintenantThe European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit, medical society. The ESC is a global society that identified cardiovascular trends, addresses inequalities and shares best practices to improve standards of care for patients.
Despite huge advances in medicine, cardiovascular disease remains the world’s biggest killer. Ultimately, the goal of ESC is to advance cardiovascular science to help people live longer, healthier lives.
The ESC acts in the interests of patients by providing cardiologists with the support and tools they need to deliver the best possible care.
My activities as Scientific Programme Officer:
ESC Congress – Award-winning flagship event
It is the largest and most influential cardiovascular event in the world attracting more than 30 000 participants from 140 countries.
Kim is responsible for the development and the delivery of the Scientific & Educational Programme of ESC Congress, in close collaboration with the Congress Programme Committee (CPC).
She is also in charge of all digital & printed publications related to the scientific programme in collaboration with communication department. Publications incude web pages, online Advanced Programme and printed Final Programme.
