  • 411 Marketing - Recruitment Manager

2017 - maintenant I am in charge of defining and implementing the talents acquisition and retention strategies, processes, and procedures.

411 Marketing is the European branch of 411 Locals Group, one of the leading internet advertising agency in the world, with its head office in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Founded in Las Vegas in 2007 by a visionary Bulgarian entrepreneur, the company is now employing several hundreds of people on 3 continents and still growing.

  • Sculfort - International Development Manager

2009 - 2012 I was in charge of the international development of the company (90% of sales were done outside of France while 100% of the production was still done in France):
*Developed partnerships with local distribution agents in the EMEA area
*Represented the company at international events and joined official delegations (mainly in the Middle East)
*Adviced the CEO on the international development strategy for developing market shares and production rationalization (with plants openings projections in India or China)
*Managed a team of sales executives, each of them being responsible for one of the following 4 areas (France, EMEA, Asia, and South America)

I decided to join Sculfort because it was the leader in the railway machine tool industry. Sculfort, based in Maubeuge, France, invented the underfloor wheel lathe technology in the early 1950's and since has been followed by all the other industry players. This was a fast growing company in a strategic sector and I wanted to play a role into the international expansion.
  • Stern Stewart & Co. - Consultant

    2007 - 2009 I was in charge of :
*conducting an EVA benchmark study about the competitors of one of our main client in Paris (a CAC 40 company).
    * realizing a Wealth Added Index ranking for companies of the CAC 40.

I decided to join Stern Stewart & Co. because the firm was founded by Joel Stern, a disciple of Miller, Modigliani, and Friedman, in the early 1980's. SSCO developed several tools to maximize the value of companies.
  • GPV Groupe - Development & Operations Manager

2003 - 2004 GPV (the European leader in envelopes trade) based in Annonay, France, had opened a subsidiary in Sofia, Bulgaria, and needed someone to help the local manager to launch the business. I was mainly in charge of establishing and managing the sales & marketing department, implementing the same operations processes and procedures as in the mother company and reporting on a monthly basis to the International Development Manager in the head quarter in France about the evolution in the subsidiary.

    Norfolk, Va 2005 - 2007 MBA

I took several classes in corporate finance, operations management, and port & maritime management. This concentration was actually the one that drove my initial choice in selecting the MBA program of ODU. At that time, ODU was one of the very rare university in the world offering an MBA concentration in Port & Maritime management. One of the other reason was due to the fact that Professor Joel M.
  • CEFAM (CENTRE D'ETUDES FRANCO-AMERICAIN DE MANAGEMENT)

    Lyon 2001 - 2005 BBA

CEFAM was one (not to the say the only one) french business school which offered an international program as early as the mid-1980's.
