  • Steelcase - Project leader for EMEA operation

    Paris 2016 - maintenant In charge of Transversal strategic projects in Europe (plants and logistic platforms in France, Germany, Czech Republic and Spain)
    -> Space & Flows initiative to develop recommendations to improve inbound/outbound flow and Storage capabilities to support future midterm needs in Europe, considering the 3 year plan for : new products introduction, sales growth per markets , insourcing/outsourcing opportunities. The goal is to be more cost competitive and to provide the right value to the customer with the right level of reliability.
    -> Product Value Analysis Project to support cost reduction and Margin Improvement .
    - Coaching on a structured methodology to Increase Product Competitiveness, Reduce the Total Product Cost on the extended supply chain.
    - Management of 6 transversal teams working on major product ranges.
    -> S&OP with suppliers initiatives to support customer delivery reliability and flexibility
    - Workshop with material management and procurement teams to analyze the current processes and information flows with suppliers, to identify needed KPI and trainings.
    - Audits with key suppliers to better understand their extended supply chain constraints and needs in term of effective demand forecast in order to develop a progress plan.
  • Steelcase - Project leader for the transfer of activities to a green field factory

    Paris 2013 - 2016 Transfer of activities from a German factory to a green field factory in Czech Republic (26 000 m² , 350 people, 300 000 products per year):
    - Project plan : layout, definition of equipment’s, capacity plan, planning of the waves of transfer of products, assessment of the resources needed and preparation of the budget.
    - Coordination of the working groups for the detailed analysis of needs and requested features.
    - supervision of the ERP implementation project ( SAP) in support to the factory start up.
    - Conduct of the steering committee and the detailed project reviews .
    - Management of the waves of transfer of products including industrialization, transfer of equipment’s, codification, tests, go live validation and production ramp up.

    - Coordination of a project team of 60 people covering the various functions (quality, material management , purchasing, production, human resources, controlling, maintenance, engineering, IT) .This International team is including people from Czech Republic, USA, Germany, France.
    - Regular review of the Budget related to the transfer of activities : 20 M euros (excluding the cost of construction of the factory).

  • Steelcase - European ERP manufacturing project leader

    Paris 1990 - 2013 Since May 2009: Manage the project to replace the curent ERP manufacturing systems in Europe (6 plants in 3 countries) by SAP. Align the processes in term of manufacturing, material management, purchasing, costing and reporting to improve data transparancy, agility within operation and a better integration of the lean manufacturing principle

    June 2005 – April 2009 : European Customized solutions manager in charge of the offer for all customized solution in Europe. management of teams in France and Germany

    January 2000 – June 2005 : International Operation Support Manager in charge of the products allocations and Make or buy studies. Support for the lean manufacturing training. Knowledge sharing organisation in the operation with animation of technical groups (painting, CAM, pacakging, ...) and business groups (engineering, ...)
