    The A400M Maintenance Data System (MDS) provides support to all maintenance operations, including corrective, preventive and predictive aspects. Responsible for:
    * Aircraft Structure Monitoring: based on aircraft usage data capture (on-board recordings and e-logbook), adjustment of tasks, monitoring of validity limits, statistical computations for Fatigue and Cracks
    * Engine and APU Health Monitoring: integration of engine manufacturer-supplied software
    * Short term fleet management: allocation of aircraft matching requests from mission tool, maintenance planning tuning with predicted usage
