Sylvain has accumulated 8 years of professional experience in the Healthcare Industry in France and Africa. He has held various roles – from Corporate Finance to Finance Head and Board member.

With extensive experience in the Southern African region, Sylvain has held the role of Finance Manager in a full subsidiary creation. In September 2011, Sylvain joined the Board of bioMerieux South Africa as a director with the mission of turning the subsidiary into a Hub for Africa. In April 2013, Sylvain secured its succession and created a company focusing on medical solutions for Africa (medical furniture, diagnostic equipments). In 2014, Sylvain joined a family office to bring its knowledge in the development of biotech, its competencies in the management of companies in Africa and its skills in group governance.

Through increasing responsibilities, Sylvain has proven his entrepreneurial agility in a multicultural environment. He is business orientated with capabilities to plan, execute and drive to deliver beyond the targets under a tight schedule and budget constraints. Sylvain knows about acquisition, subsidiary creation, joint-venture and capital share buy back and have the ability to manage large scale projects and responsibilities (corporate) as well as regional and local operations.

Sylvain, 30, holds a Master’s degree in Economic and Management with specialization in accounting, controlling and auditing from University of Saint-Etienne in France and a DESCF, Higher Studies Diploma in Accounting and Finance. (National French Chartered Accounting diploma).
