Entreprises

  • ENovance - System engineer & LDAP expert

    2009 - 2009 • Project quality & industrialization:
Introduced methods and tools to attain controlled quality levels on internal development projects. This included extensive use of continuous integration, version control best practices and some methods of 'agile' development.

Industrialization was improved with pre-configurable software packaging for fully automated installs (for Debian systems, via debconf and LDAP).

    • LDAP & Identity Management:
For customers and internal projects, I studied identity availability requirements, and designed LDAP directory specifications (DIT, ACL and schemas), proofed using OpenLDAP.

Projects included a strong focus on integration, including synchronization with existing repositories (databases, directories and flat files) and transparent SSO using Kerberos.
  • Normation - CTO / Owner

    Paris 2009 - maintenant In 2009, I co-created Normation.

Normation is a software company based in Paris developing software to run and manage IT infrastructures, and providing expertise in the configuration and identity management fields.

Our solution development activity is backed up by consulting and professional services in each associate's field of expertise.
  • Linagora - Technical leader of Identity Management team

    Puteaux 2007 - 2009 • Identity Management technical leader:

Projects included deployment, optimization and synchronization of identity repositories, contributions to Open Source tools such as LDAP Synchronization Connector (LSC - http://lsc-project.org) and OpenLDAP, Active Directory interoperability, advanced access rights analysis on large-scale enterprise directories and broader IAM projects.

Project management from small to medium-sized projects. Pre-sales included analysing customers' needs and building up detailed proposals and cost estimations.

    • Support Technical Account Manager:
Central reference for customers, providing specific technical solutions including consulting and leading small projects.

    • Support requests:
Analysis, reproduction and resolution for different free software components within a contractual time-frame in constant relation with customers. Technical input varies from providing information to in-depth code analysis and patching.

    • System administration:
Security and incident resolution on internal information systems and for customers in 24x7 and security-critical environments at major telcos and banks.

    • Training: Lead training sessions on LDAP protocol and directory products, specifically OpenLDAP.
  • Alcatel Alenia Space - High availability network protocol design and system programming

2006 - 2006 I designed and implemented a communication protocol with high availability and failover as priorities. Using the C language, I programmed it for a multi-threaded environment, sending and handling various system signals and multiple network sockets. All work was done in a Linux development environment (glibc, gcc, autotools, Makefiles …)
  • PraKsys - Automating server configuration with LDAP directories

2006 - 2006 Designed specifications to automate and centralize configuration of multiple network services on Debian Linux, particularly well-known open source servers. This included an advanced self-generating web administration interface for LDAP directories (LLAZY), integrating software configuration in OpenLDAP schemas and system scripting in Python and Bash.
  • Institut Français d’Athènes - Unix server configuration and software development

2005 - 2005 • System administration on servers running Linux and Windows 2003 Server. Full configuration, testing and production maintenance of a mission-critical mail server using free software (Postfix, Apache, BIND, …) running on FreeBSD.
    • Designed and implemented a management front-end for timetable planning using PHP/MySQL and Active Directory as an authentication provider.
    • Day to day user support.
  • Amicale des Elèves INSA - President of INSA’s student forum

2004 - 2005 Lead a team of 14 people during a year, organized and chaired weekly meetings, handled a 20 000 € budget for the management of all activities in the school's student forum. Interaction and commercial dealings with suppliers and sponsors.
