• Commission Européenne - Deep Water Expert

  Bruxelles 2014 - maintenant Consultant on the Horizon 2020 new European Community Program for Deep Sea Research and Innovation running from 2014 to 2020 with a EUR 80 Billion budget
  EU Subsea Expert
  As the Main Expert on Deep Water Subsea Operation for the DexROV European Community H2020 Blue Growth Program, I will assist in the evaluation of proposals and monitoring of action of such project.
  In addition, I deliver my expertise in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of programs and design of policies
  Scope:
  Blue Growth: Unlocking the potential of Seas and Oceans Program will address the innovative design of new underwater vehicles and robots and/or their main components required to operate at even higher depths (down to 6,000m), and in extreme conditions (e.g. Arctic regions, with corrosive products, heavy/viscous liquids, high pressure - high temperature systems, etc.).
  If relevant, proposals could go to the stage of demonstrators or prototypes.
  The areas of interest are the following:
  -Remotely Operated Vehicles and Subsea Construction systems
  -Specialized 'Robots' and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles, deployment, recovery
  and docking systems
  -Subsea 'factory' machineries.
  Activities should cover the development of European Community Standards.
  
  Expected impact:
  Enable sustainable and safe offshore operations by European industries in extreme conditions (deep sea areas, Arctic conditions, corrosive products, high pressure and temperature...) and ultra Deep Water Depth
  Increase cost-effectiveness and competitiveness of the existing and new offshore economy (including marine renewable energy);
  Improve the scientific capacity to observe and understand the water column, the deep sea environment and their resources.

• Total - RSES/ Offshore Operation Manager

  COURBEVOIE 2011 - maintenant Management and supervision of all related offshore construction activities and coordination of offshore logistic activities.
  Follow-up of the installation engineering activities and the implementation of safe and sound installation procedures.
  Manage the offshore representatives on the OIMR vessels and organize appropriate meetings and reporting to allow a proper supervision of the offshore activities.
  Organization and mobilization of Subsea and field installation supervision teams on the various vessels.
  Enforce sufficient reporting process for the activities performed on and from the vessel to allow decision making process to be done at the appropriate level within COMPANY organization.
  
  Actively participate to the resolution of unavoidable operational interface/clashes with drilling program and Field Operations activities. Act as technical authority for the resolution of any of these situations offshore.
  
  Implementation, organization/follow-up of Contractor marine spreads inspection and audit plan.
  Ensure that Contractor installation schedule is based on safe and realistic procedures and remains compatible with Company overall plan.
  Installation risk assessment and control inclusive of mitigation measures, in coordination with the contractor risk management plan.
  Participate in clarification and responses to Contractor queries and requests for waivers issued for the activities performed on the vessel in accordance with project procedures
  
  Enforcement and supervision of marine spread upgrade plans whenever identified as required Company representative in case of an emergency offshore and part of a possible emergency response cell onshore.
  Liaise on a regular basis and as needed with the Drilling and completions, Field Operations Subsea Engineers, HSE Engineer and the SIMOPS Coordinators.

  2010 - maintenant Proactive Manager in International and multicultural environment with strong and persuasive interpersonal skills, I am now in charge of the subsea developments in deep water offshore in Africa for TOTAL and Member of the Advisory Board of EU Blue Growth DexROV Project Horizon 2020
