    2008 - 2010 Our Exports are from the South East UK to Europe with a main focus on France, Belgium and Spain. My main and day to day duties include:

    PLANNING: Taking up orders, calculating transit time & creating them on our SAP system. Our first aim is reloading Group vehicles according to their area. If no solution is available with ND trucks, loads are offered to other partners.

    CUSTOMER SERVICE: Informing customer at all time of any discrepancies regarding collection, delivery time or goods damage. Offering best solution & tariff to customers based on their requirements and the nature of the goods to transit.

    REPORTING: Implementing tracking report for major customers, KPI & non conformity management code in the system following transport issues, in order to provide information to our Business Analyst on service level.

    INSURANCE: Declaring goods’ accident by creating claims on our system, informing & writing correspondence to each party informing of the procedure and providing documents to the insurance department.

    ADMINISTRATION: Providing CMR to customers, solving queries with administration and credit control departments as well as editing pro forma invoices.
  • Norbert Dentressangle International - Human Ressources administrator

    2006 - 2008 Working alongside the UK HR Director on all HR matters related to the 7 UK offices. Main tasks included:

    RECRUITMENT: Creating job descriptions & designing adverts from warehouse staff to BDM. Pre-selecting applications, telephone interviews, short-listings & the first round of interviews. Recommendations to Managers & the HRD.

    TRAINING: Defining training needs with HR Director & Managers, offering a choice of training providers with costing, organizing events while liaising with Managers, attendees and trainers.

    DISCIPLINARY: In charge of the whole process from establishing the level of misconduct to informing the employee of the decision. I was assisted by the HRD on gross misconduct matters.

    INDUCTION: Welcoming & introducing new employees to the company and policy on their first day. Liaising with them during their trial period.

    REPORTING: Providing various reports & KPI to our Group head office in France regarding training investments, career management & recruitment.

    HR PROJECTS: During my time in HR, I have worked on 3 main projects which were:
    - Redesigning induction process
    - Offered and implemented a partnership with France for the VIE (an European agreement for French companies on voluntary work abroad)
    - Creating a training manual for all the UK transport operators
