    2006 - 2010 Analyse des comportements routiers au sein d’une cohorte professionnelle
    Nos travaux scientifiques en post-doctorat nous ont permis de poursuivre l'étude sur la sécurité routière initiée par Emmanuel Lagarde au sein d'une importante cohorte professionnelle, la cohorte GAZEL, en collaboration avec l’institut national de recherche sur les transports et leur sécurité. Le premier volet de nos travaux, publié dans Health Education Research, nous a permis de mettre en évidence une modification significative des attitudes vis-à-vis de la sécurité routière entre 2001 et 2004. Le deuxième volet avait pour objectif de mesurer les changements des fractions d’accidents corporels attribuables à différents comportements routiers à risque entre 2001 et 2004, travail sanctionné par une publication dans American Journal of Public Health. Un troisième article paru dans Scandinavian journal of Work, Environment and Health met en évidence l’influence du passage à la retraite sur les comportements routiers à risque.

    J’ai coordonné la réalisation d’une troisième enquête sur la sécurité routière dans la cohorte GAZEL en 2007, afin de poursuivre ces travaux sur une période plus étendue, en particulier sur l’alcool et ses conséquences. Dans un article paru en ligne dans Addiction, nous montrons que l’augmentation des mesures contre les infractions routières en France à permis une diminution très significative des excès de vitesse mais pas de l’alcool au volant entre 2001 et 2007.
