Thesis: “Tunneling spectroscopy study of thin superconducting films close to the superconductor-insulator transition”

Low temperature (50mK) STM tunneling spectroscopy and transport measurements on the following topics:
    - Localization and superconductivity in indium oxide, and titanium nitride thin films
    - Thermodynamical and quantum fluctuations of the superconducting order parameter close to the localization threshold in thin superconducting films
    - Low-lying excitations in vortex cores of dirty superconductors
    - Proximity effect in hybrid metal-superconductor and graphene-superconductor nanostructures
