  2008 - 2011 I am plant manager of Hexcel production site based in Nantes (France). This plant was built in 2007 in order to supply carbon based pre-impregnated material to the aerospace industry, especially for the A380 and A350 programs in Airbus Nantes.
  Currently there are 30 persons onsite working on a 4 shift pattern to ensure material supply to Airbus and its main subcontractors. Volumes are rising fast and the site is in constant growth since beginning of this year. Headcount has indeed tripled in the last 10 months.
  Main accountabilities are production efficiency, scrap level, inventory, workforce adaptation, quality, safety.

• Hexcel Composites (Duxford, UK + Stade, Germany) - Process Engineer

  2007 - 2008 After a very rich experience within R&T, I then moved to the Operations department in order to be in charge of the start up of the newly built plant in Germany (Stade). I lead all qualification and industrialisatiion trials for standard material.
  I was in charge of implementing and updating process documentation, as well as procedures and defining bills of materials for standard and new materials.
  I lead various trials for industrialisation too, i.e. establishing the best process conditions for the material.
  I was involved in operator training and quality manual preparation.
  I participated in process and product audits as well as high profile problem solving exercises.

• Hexcel Composites (Duxford UK) - Process Technologist

  2005 - 2007 I worked as Process Technologist in Hexcel R&T department for 18 months working on various global process development projects.
  I successfully managed a project which goal was to implement a top of the range on-line technology on existing production lines so as to improve product quality.
  I was also deeply involved in series of production trials for industrialisation of newly developed products for aerospace. These trials were completed in various European production lines as well as in the US.
  This experience was really rich and enabled me to have a good knowledge of the various processes used to manufacture composite material for aersopace.
  Six Sigma tools (ex : variability analysis, capability, DOE) were used on a very regular basis to improve processes as well as establish set points and tolerances on newly developed products.

• Centre technique du Papier (Grenoble) - Ingénieur R&D Environnement

  2002 - 2005 Manager de projet multi-clients dans le domaine de l'Environnement, pour la réduction de l'impact environnemental des sites papetiers.
  Trois projets majeurs : réduction des rejets dans les circuits papetiers ainsi que de la consommation d'eau, amélioration de la gestion de la température dans les circuits de fabrication, étude de la biodégradabilité des matériaux papiers-cartons.
  Ce poste impliquait du management de projet (technique, planning, financier, humain) mais aussi de la diffusion d'informations (présentations, rédaction d'articles, support technique de la profession papetière, échanges avec d'autes centres de recherches européens sur des thématiques proches).
