En résumé

I have been working in the pharmaceutical industry for 20 years, starting my career within the Mapi Group in marketing and communication. With the creation of the Mapi Research Trust in 2004, a not-for-profit organization specialized in PRO information, I became responsible for the Information Unit which involved a team of 7 people. I supervised the collecting, storing and providing of information on PRO Instruments, translations and linguistic validation.

I was the primary contact supporting clients from Industry to execute patient reported outcomes information and translation projects in accordance with industry standards to meet health authority guidelines for endpoint measurement.

My roles have included PRO literature searches, obtaining evidence-based information on PRO instruments and translations, getting license agreements in place. My team responded over 5,000 PRO information requests annually. I have developed an expertise in authorship and intellectual property specific to the field of PRO, and have developed a unique business model for the international distribution of PRO questionnaires and their translations.

Over the years, PRO translations have become one of my core expertise. Having a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's needs in PRO translation and validation, skilled in finding contacts, networking and building lasting client relationships, in April 2010, I joined Mapi-Linguistic Validation, company specialized in Translation and linguistic Validation of PROs, as Director of Business Development to advance linguistic validation activities in Europe. As part of my expertise in copyright and licensing I am also responsible for negotiating and managing the exclusive licenses with developers of instruments for their instrument translations and other derivatives including e-versions.

My responsibilities include continuous improvement of processes and methods associated with PRO information and translations and other types of clinical outcomes assessments (COAs), development of translation databases, versioning system and PRO Translations Knowledge Centre.
