    Responsibilities:

    ► Devise purchasing strategy to increase performance in a changing market segment (from physical to digital download and streaming), making sure than selection, price and customer experience are the core tenets in building up this strategy
    ► Negotiate products with Music industry majors, indies and wholesalers (more than 200 vendors)
    ► Negotiate partnerships with main suppliers in the context of Amazon preferred suppliers program: front and back margin, marketing budget, advertising budget
    ► Negotiate logistics and transportation improvements in coordination with operations and legal departments
    ► Analyse results and implement operations and projects to grow business and develop profitability (promotions, merchandising, sourcing strategy…)
  • Bigpoint - Director Southern Europe, Web and Gaming

    2012 - 2013 European leader in browser games (300 M registered customers, 800 employees), 2011 turnover: €150M

    As Director Southern Europe at Bigpoint, I developed a 30 M€ turnover in the region, owned the P&L and managed a team of 15 people, in 3 offices (Hamburg, Paris, Rome), covering sales, business development, marketing, community support and localization. I gained hands-on experience in acquisition and monetization (€10M budget) in the hottest business in gaming, Free2Play. I developed an extensive distribution partnerships network and a deep understanding of issues involved in setting up local offices.

    Responsibilities:

    ► Drive Bigpoint's growth in Southern Europe
    ► Manage the French and Italian subsidiaries, P&L ownership
    ► Manage a 15 strong team, in 3 offices (Hamburg, Paris, Rome), covering sales, business development, marketing, community support and localisation
    ► Business development: build and develop successful business partnerships to increase the distribution and promotion of Bigpoint's portfolio of browser games
    ► Multi-channel marketing, monetization and funnel optimization: adapt, optimize, implement and develop performance marketing (SEM, SEO, Media, Display, viral, SMA...), CRM, PR and payment strategies
    ► Grow the turnover and registered base of Bigpoint major Free2Play games : Farmerama, Dark Orbit, SeaFight, Battlestar Galactica, Ice Age…
    ► Source local content, develop relationships with gaming developers to publish and distribute their games
    ► Make the whole customer experience feel local

    Achievements:

    ► Grew monetisation from partnerships by 30%
    ► Optimized the ROI of the yearly digital marketing budget (10 M€ acquisition spending). Reduced the CPL by 25%

  • SFR - Head of New Services, Telecom and Web

    2009 - 2012 Leading French mobile and landline operator (2010 revenue: €12bn)

    
As Head of New Services at SFR, I developed high growth potential new content services. We launched the first cloud gaming service on TV in 2010 (world premiere), convergent with other screens (PC, smartphones, tablets). I also launched SFR gambling portal.



    Responsibilities:
    ► Create and lead the marketing strategy and execution for new content services to generate product differentiation, consumer preference and ARPU growth
    ► Business development and account management: digital content publishers, cloud gaming providers, strategic partners
    ► Digital marketing, product marketing, acquisition and engagement: paid, owned and earned
    ► Management of a team of 3 as well as consulting resources


    Achievements:
    ► Launch of the first cloud gaming service on TV in 2010 (world premiere). The service will total 10M€ turnover in 2013 and is identified as strategic for SFR. Accesses on PC, smartphones and tablets deployed.
    ► Extended this technology to cloud/interactive TV services (video, e-learning, e-commerce)
    ► Launch of a suite of gambling services in 2010 (deregulation of this industry in France), monetisation of SFR sites traffic
  • SFR - Head of Games, Telecom and Mobile

    2001 - 2008 Leading French mobile and landline operator (2009 revenue: €12bn)

    As Head of Games, I was responsible for a 27M€ content service, managing the gaming business including strategy, business development, marketing, app stores, product and service management. I have led SFR’s gaming business to become a leader in Europe.



    Responsibilities:

    ► Design and execute the strategy and development for a 27M€ content service (2008 figures)
    ► Business development / partnership building: publishers, app stores, platform providers
    ► Product and mix marketing, co-marketing, PR, inbound and outbound acquisition
    ► Manage a team of 2 as well as consulting resources, management and tracking of the service budget and P&L


    Achievements:

    ► 600% growth in 5 years (activity started in 2002)
    ► 40% growth from 2007 to 2008
    ► Established and maintained “SFR Jeux” as the largest mobile games portal in France and Europe for over 5 years
    ► Created a cross platform entertainment offering; mobile (java and other OS), wap, web, PC and MMO games
    ► Successfully managed partner relationships with more than 30 world-renowned publishers and technical partners.
    ► Organised and executed an annual co-marketing budget of over 3.5M€

    ► Established publishing marketing budgets of up to 300 k€ per title

    Responsibilities:

    ► Make sure that European interests are taken into account by US publishing and marketing teams, follow up with them durign the development
    ► Title selection for the European market, optimise the global strategy and/or generate a European specific marketing plan
    ► Implementation of this strategy with local distribution, oversight of the marketing assets creation and distribution to local teams

    Achievements:

    ► 21 video games launched, including, Half Life, Caesar 3, Brood Wars, Grand Prix Legends, USM, Pro Pilot…
    ► Half Life franchise: more than 15 M units sold
