Passionate and dedicated geologist, my studies and my work experience lead me to develop my abilities in both oil and gas and mineral exploration. At the same time, my interests in environmental issues and energy policies grew from my background into an everyday awareness.
Working since 2013 as an independent QSE consultant, I am actively looking for a position as an engineer geologist.
MINERAL EXPLORATION
AUSTRALIAN WORK EXPERIENCE
• Exploration of iron ore prospects in the Pilbara Region, Western Australia: Mapping and cuttings logging of sedimented oxidized iron ressources in the Hammersley geological group for FMGL.
• Field work on a VMS exploration project in the Murchinson Province, Western Australia: Camp setting up, geophysical core logging and geological mapping.
OIL AND GAS SEDIMENTOLY
ACADEMIC PROJECTS & FIELD WORK:
• Nuclear Magnetic Resonnance (NMR) porosity studies of clays (Kaolinite and Smectite): Bibliographical studies and setting up of experiments improving the definition of NMR results on hydrated materials at IPFen.
• Tectono-stratigraphic evolution of the Colville Basin (NPRA, Alaska): integration of subsurface data (Kingdom software), seismic interpretation, well log analysis and correlations, sequence stratigraphy
• Tectono-sedimentary evolution of the Jurassic High-Atlas Basin, Morocco (incl. 15 days field work): geological mapping, structural and sedimentary analysis, sequence stratigraphy, regional synthesis
• Tectono-sedimentary evolution of the Eocene Ainsa foreland basin, Sierra de Guara, Spanish Pyrenees (incl.17 days field work): geological mapping, sedimentary section logging, sequence stratigraphy, synthetic seismic modeling of key outcrops
