    Develop and deliver the product in line with the product roadmap and as agreed with the Program Manager - In charge of the definition of the technical answer to the need expressed by the Solution Director and the specific user project needs

    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage the product development team for both internal (Products Engineering) and external (buy) developments, ensuring respect of QCD commitments - around 15 people
    • With the product Program Manager, define and agree on the product development roadmap that he commits to deliver
    • Provide QCD estimation on bids and user projects requests and support system application architects in gap analysis/QCD quotation
    • Ensure technical coordination, arbitrate design choice
    • Apply and contribute to improvement of the product development processes, methods & tools as defined by the Methods and Tools organization
    • Specify the product characteristics and ensure that the product delivers the performance levels expected as defined in the product roadmap and meet systems and platforms expectations
    • Organize the product design reviews
    • Support make or buy analysis and arbitration
    • Develop design-to-cost approach in developments to decrease unit cost of solutions
    • Support product program V&V manager to define the best product validation policy and strategy
    • Contribute to the definition of the Product Quality Plan
    • Alert the reporting structure for any event that could impact product development QCD commitments
    • Manage product requirements: ensure the traceability of the product requirements (from product level down to software and hardware level) and ensure that each product requirement has been addressed by V&V through the whole development cycle
    • Manage product configuration, change management and deliveries: establish and maintain the configuration baselines, perform configuration reviews, lead the Change Control Board (CCB)

    • Responsible of DMI (Driver Machine Interface) sub-system platform design including following activities

    o Ensure Hardware & Software technical coherency throughout the development

    • Defined DMI TCMS generic platform: functional breakdown, specification documents, requirements to products allocation, traceability, performances clarification and improvement, roadmaps etc.

    o Defined, proposed and led strategic activities to improve generic platform and products

    • Contribute to the design of the processing unit of an integrated ASIC receiver – Signal processing and hardware functions definitions - In charge of the ASIC integration and verification plans
    • Development and integration of a multi-constellation (GPS/Galileo/Glonass) receiver signal processing embedded software with the Russian partner
    o Participation to the technical part of the project including functional, software development, frequency plan, RF automatic gain control loop, digital signal processing functions integration.

    o Definition of the future civil Multi-Constellation Receiver in partnership with Honeywell, according to the Thales product roadmap and future Airbus architectures requirements
