  • Total Petrochemicals - Arkema - Deputy Production Manager Polyethylene

    1998 - 2001 - Led efforts for Productivity, Reliability and Quality Improvements
    - Worked with customers in the pharmaceutical industry to define new product requirements and improve quality standards resulting in a new market and an additional profit of $5m a year.
    - Improved flexibility and lead time for a portfolio of 40 products by adapting management of supplies at plant level. Implemented this new policy in SAP (supply chain management software) and trained 30 people to use it.
    - Streamlined maintenance procedures to reduce length of monthly shutdowns by 20%
