EGINA is deep offshore development with 1550m depth, Production 200kBPD of oil and 4.6 Mm3/d of gas export.
Main activities are the basic engineering studies and the preparation of the main contracts.
Contribute to the implementation of an effective HSE policy within the EGINA Project Team and all project contractors. FPSO (Floating Production Storage Offloading) Project.
Advise EGINA HSSE manager on introduction of crisis management systems; ensure systems, operation, distribution and the preparedness of the relevant personnel.
Involved in Call for tender clarifications on HSSE matter, Acting of HSSE audit team during pre-selection phase of EPC contractors Writing HSSE procedures due to new project (recording perimeter, training, ect…)
Coaches HSE Nigerian supervisors at EGINA offices and provide them recommendations suggestions and tools.
Review of HSE documents construction and operating procedures.
Review design and detail design concerning safety matters in FPSO packages.
Be part of evaluation of contractors and service providers. Establish a monthly reporting system on incidents, accidents and anomalies………..

The priority was to start going basis HSE rules as Safety induction, PPE , Road Traffic, Blasting, Tool Box Talk, Reporting, Hygiene Food….
In charge of 10 safety officers, divided in 4 work areas, advising and monitoring Main contractor (YEMGAS) HSE team.

Site activities :In charge of Process area (Train 1 and Train 2) regarding all safety aspects, particularly Work permit system ,Heavy lifting, confined space, work at height (scaffolding + grating installation), Post Welding Treatment, Radiography, Hydro test, air flashing, air blowing…
End of construction, RFSU (ready for start up) ,working in commissioning areas.
In charge of 3 safety sup and 5 safety officers, including 1 safety officer for nigh shift.
I am involved also regarding the implementation of Methods statement and risk assessment and incident investigation did by the main contractor.
.Reporting activities: On weekly basis , I ‘m doing HSE reports like :HSE Weekly Statistics , HSE Weekly Reports concerning site activities, HSE sub-contractor personal on site , IFU ( incident Follow up ) , SIN (summary incident Notification with Event Report after incident, Anomalies Database updating and Statistics , Key Performance indicator , Master file following audits done on site .

In charge of Ready for start up and Gas in in Train 1.Opening Work Permit in Battery Limit Area, gaz check, Evacuation drill and mustering….
In charge of last part of Construction Area (Train2) : Controlling construction operations included Radio activity ,controlling interface gas in under work permit. Controlling emergency devices needs to activate in case of gas leak coming from gas in area. Controlling access trough checkpoint. One of my safety officers is on night shift duty to cover all areas even gaz area.
Reporting activities as previous one regarding Statistic. Daily and weekly reports
Demobilization of all Camps, workshops, batching plant…..regarding safety matter and environment aspect.

This qualification gives me all aspects regarding restaurant implementation “one way system” and secures my colleagues health against “Food poisoning”
