I've spent more than 20 years in IT services for several kind of industries/activities; as an IT service delivery manager, consultant & architect, program manager and support team manager to develop IT solutions for international companies like Rio Tinto, Hewlett Packard, L'Oréal, etc.

As a datacenter expert, I managed 2 datacenters for EMEA region with around 200 servers, 100 databases, 6 Citrix farms. Several projects made to stabilize, rationalize the environment including Disaster Recovery mechanism for very critical applications, Citrix farms consolidation.

I like also training/teaching colleagues or students as part of my second job, part-time/supply teacher for Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) Engineer school.

    2014 - maintenant Support, maintenance et développement d'une application de Business Intelligence (BI) sous Talend et SAP BO 3.1 pour la logistique Europe et Amérique du Sud.

    Citrix XenApp consolidation and improvement
    January 2013
    Purpose of the project was to migrate to new XenApp 6.5 version, to consolidate and improve the existing farms in EMEA, to only keep one central farm. This project involved several members, includind outsourcing ressources
    European datacentre refresh
    2012
    The European datacenter was a mix of physical old servers (more than 4yrs) and virtual new infrastructure. This project goal was to migrate the old servers to mainly virtual ones, or some physical in case of lack of support for VM. The overall project give the company opportunity to save money thanks to virtualization, no more used servers rundown, etc.
    Datacenter DRP implementation
    2011
    The main project goal was to setup a backup datacenter site for the EMEA datacenter in UK and to put in place DR plan for all critical applications. Several kind of criticality, with several technical solution from Tier 1 (Recovery Point Objective less than 10 mn - RPO, Recovery Time Objective less than 4 hrs - RTO) to Tier 5 ( RPO < 72 hrs, RTO < 72 hrs).

    I wrote relevant documentation with the outsourcer, depending on technical solution, criticality, etc. to be able to handle DR testing or real DR switch, from technical and organizational perspectives.

    Monitoring platform setup (Open Source)
    Setup Linux infrastructure with Nagios/Centreon software programs to monitor existing infrastructure (SAP, databases - Oracle/MySQL/MS SQL, Windows servers, etc.)
