Refurbishment of 2 Presidential Palaces - Calculations for concrete, marble and metal columns (12 m high), and seismic masonry (9 m high).
Establishing a new seismic model for every renovated building and checking that the refurbishment has not disrupted the seismic behaviour of the structure.
Ashgabat Congress Center 104,000 m2 Governmental congress hall with a 3 000-seat Theatre. CIVIL WORKS : More than 120 m of technical tunnels, very large underground processing plant: 9 m high, three water tanks. Largest metal roof in Ashgabat without a seismic joint: 80 m wide by 120 m long without any intermediate support. Post-tensioning roof over the theatre, 40m long, supporting a huge metallic cupola. Making the seismic model and doing the shop drawings for metalwork and concrete.
International University 2,000 students accommodation: 376 rooms. Faculty with a concrete Cupola that is 30 m in diameter, a Gymnasium, a Restaurant, and a large plant room. Grand concrete entrance gate, 40 m high, with large arches.
