    2006 - maintenant Reporting to the Regional sales Manager (main markets = corrugated board, bags, tissue), at the head of a team composed of 2 outside engineers, & 5 lab engineers, my missions are:

    -Pre-sales support: we support sales force on product proposal and technical matters

    -Customer support: we help customers to solve technical issues, reduce costs, improve quality, and optimize printing processes, via ink adaptations, process adjustments, and on-site trainings

    -Product portfolio management: according to market expectations, we develop new inks, and rationalize portfolio (phase in and out)

    -Cost savings: we continuously reduce costs, via raw material substitutions and process improvements (with SCM)

    -Product Quality : we interface with SCM to industrialize and improve product quality (right first time, claims)

    => Main achievements:

    Contributed to BU sales growth from 20M€ to 25M€ within 5 years (+25%)
    Customer survey carried out in 2011 proved high satisfaction regarding customer support
    Compressed core portfolio from 155 to 60 products
    Claims reduced by 40%

  • SIEGWERK Finlande, Tampere (120p) - Product Development Manager

    2002 - 2006 Reporting to the R&D Manager with my team (3 lab engineers), I was in charge of developments of water based inks for films and paper applications.

    => Main achievements: with involvement of suppliers, purchasing, and production, we created:

     UNICUP, a set of inks for disposable cups; whose sales are still growing
    UNIBASE, a set of pigment concentrates that is still used as semi finished system by customers and most subsidiaries all over Europe

  • SICPA France, Annemasse(400p) - R&D Projects leader Liquids inks

    1996 - 2002 Reporting to the R&D Manager, I carried out short and long terms projects on water based inks especially for flexible applications e.g. lamination, heat resistant inks on films (OPP , PET, aluminium), yoghurt lids, primers and overlacquers for metallised films
