  • C&K Components - Chief Executive Officer

    2012 - 2016 C&K Components is a leader in interface and switch technology as well as smart card and high reliability connector products. C&K Components has built a position of leadership by providing one of the broadest lines of quality switches and a superior level of customer service while offering to its customers a fully vertically manufacturing capability.

    Reporting to the Executive Committee of USA based private equity LittleJohn & Co, LLC, I managed an organization of 1500 employees, which included two main production sites (France, China) and 20 other offices around the world (R&D, sales, technical support).
    - Grew revenue in a very competitive environment, while drastically improving Ebitda performance
    - Completed a competitor acquisition in China resulting in both an accelerated revenue growth in Asia as well as a manufacturing footprint rationalization.
    - Deeply restructured C&K from a regional to a global organization, creating a single company culture while bringing key new staff members.
    - Drastically improved R&D and marketing organization to drive innovation rate
  • C&K Components - European General Manager

    2010 - 2012 C&K European General Manager reporting to the CoActive holding CEO,
    managing 450 employees worldwide with annual revenue of 90M$.

    * Shifted market focus from Telco to Automotive and Industrial while aligning the
    company organization accordingly.
    * Restructured sales organization and rationalized channel to market.
    * Enhanced manufacturing efficiency (Lean, Kanban, ...) resulting in over 15 points of
    margin improvement.
    * Reestablished positive social climate (post 2009 crisis) and winning spirit.
  • Oberthur Technologies - General Manager of Cards and Services Product Lines

    Colombes 2007 - 2010 Oberthur Technologies is a French digital security company providing secure technology
    solutions for Smart Transactions, Mobile Financial Services, Machine-to-Machine, Digital
    Identity and Transport & Access Control.

    Reporting to the CEO, in charge of an international team of 600 employees (France,
    England, Malaysia and China) with strong high tech background.

    * Responsibility covered P&L management with revenue over 600M EUR , with a mix of high (Payment) and low (Transport and Mobile) margin products.
    * Restructured marketing and R&D organization. ;
    * Deployed a specific product strategy for payment targeted to 11 `emerging' countries.
    * Launched an 18 months plan to create 20 specific Payment Services complementing
    existing card offering. All services were delivered on-time and generated expected
    incremental revenue.
  • Atmel - Managing Director - Secure Products Division

    Rousset 2006 - 2007
    Reporting to the Vice-President of the ASIC Business Unit (~500M$), in charge of a team of 300 employees located in France and Scotland.
    - Responsibility covered full P&L management with revenue of 200M$. Direct team included marketing, product design, test engineering, quality, planning & customer service as well as back-end production site.
    - Main mission was to define and implement a strategy to transition from a low/no margin performance to a proper profitability level.
    - Got approval on a 3 year plan to transition from high telecom exposure to more secured system solution
    - Key changes implemented (externalization of manufacturing, product portfolio diversification, new skills acquisition, ..), ultimately lead to the sale of the division to Inside Technology in 2010.
  • Atmel - General Manager

    Rousset 1998 - 2006 Reporting to the Vice-President of the microcontroller BU (~600M$), in charge of 8 bit
    microcontrollers, FPGA, military and space products with a team of 650 employees
    including one production unit.
    * Responsible of 150M$ revenue, with marketing, R&D (design, CAD, product and test
    engineering), quality, planning & customer service, production, finance and RH.
    * Key achievements: EBT grew to 18% of sales (150M$), grew innovation rate over
    15%, positioned the organization as the automotive center of expertise for
    microcontrollers, and a successful sale of the production unit.
  • STMicroelectronics - Director of Marketing - Semicustom Division - Carrolton

    1996 - 1998 In charge of worldwide marketing division ($300M), managing an international team of
    senior engineers, mainly focused on 16 OEM accounts (Digital TV and HDD).
    Main mission was to ensure profitable migration from Asic supplier to Silicon Solution
    provider. Achieved over 100M$ of new business in the two year period.
  • STMicroelectronics - Product Marketing Manager - NVRAM business

    1994 - 1996 Main achievements included a deep roadmap portfolio clean-up (60% removed) and
    re-shape, strong focus on sales promotion and support (Taiwan and Japan) resulting
    in a 75% revenue growth over two years.
  • STMicroelectronics - Sales Manager - Computer Business

    1989 - 1994 First in charge of IBM worldwide purchasing, then became worldwide key account
    (+200% growth over 2 years).
