• kWST GmbH - Business Director

  2012 - maintenant KWST is the largest ethanol re-distillation and recycling unit in North East Europe. This Hannover based family company, with over 150 years existence and fifth generation at the helm of the company, is a specialised in ethanol distillation, rectification and dehydration. KWST supplies the pharmaceutical, spirits, perfumes, chemical, cosmetics, paints, packaging and car care industries. Since May 2014, Mitsubishi Corporation has entered as Minority shareholder in KWST capital, sealing a strategic alliance between their world activities in ethanol and KWST excellence in EU ethanol distribution. • Vertical UK LLP - Co founder and Managing Director

  2003 - 2011 Company Co Founder and Managing Director, co-lead and grew Vertical from a startup to the world wide largest ethanol trading house specialised in ethyl alcohol origination and distribution, with a team of 100 persons, over 800'000 metric tons of ethanol distributed world wide per year from 2006 onwards.
  In charge of ethanol trading, team management, business development, procurement and Trade Director for non fuel ethanol trade and ww distribution.
  Grew the company presence on EU, CIS, African, Asian and Far East markets, as Managing Director of Geneva headquarters and of Singapore office. Led trade team of 40 persons to grow recurring business in 78 countries and procurement in more than 30 origins. Handled over 400 millions USD trade book over the last 7 years of presence in the company until successful takeover by Raizen of the entire company and team.

• Alcotra S.A. - Vice President

  1997 - 2002 Transferred by Management from Brussels to Geneva, created and structured a professional procurement and supply team for sister company Alcodis from Africa, Pakistan, Central America and Latin America.
  - Creation of rep. offices in Central America, Pakistan, India, China.
  - Created with the largest Japanese trading companies a new quality definition of crude ethanol for redistillation or industrial use, named "Grade B". It is now representing over 1 millions MT of world traded volume. For this one year project, over 100 distilleries in Brazil where sampled and all Far East industrial clients where consulted to agree upon such new specification.
  - Head ethanol trader, Head of Ethanol Procurement and Group Vice President, in charge of trading teams, sales team, agents, offices and operators world-wide.
  - Founded Alcochem US,
  - Member of the Alco Group executive comity.

• Alcodis S.A. - Commercial Director

  1992 - 1996 As MMM Alcools, the original name of this trading company composed in 1992 of 8 persons, lived in Moscow to organise the startup of a company subsidiary in Russia, hiring of the team and initiated negotiations leading to a 1993 investment in a 3 millions USD dehydration plant with Neftechemia in Samara.
  Based back in Brussels mid 1993 as Commercial director, grew and developed the European distribution operation, now named Alcodis, specialised in the supply of bulk imported ethanol to industrial and spirits producers for uses such as spirits, vinegar, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, inks, paints and solvent industries. Developed the turnover of this activity from 2 millions USD in 1993 to over 70 millions USD in 1996, the client book to over 100 clients in 12 EU countries and grew a team specialised in one field of excellence, ethanol distribution with long term added value. Alcodis remains today one of the important ethanol importers in Europe.
