• First mission is to optimize the European footprint (17 plants & 16 JIT) after the merging with Emcon. This consists of reallocating programs, closing JITs and/or plants, develop the vision of the Europe footprint long term with increasing LCC production.
• Launching new plant in Romania for new businesses
• Managing capacity optimization of equipment.
• Define and follow Make or Buy strategies

• Manage directly and indirectly the Manufacturing Engineering team in Tech Center and in 5 plants and 2 JIT in a crisis period (Chrysler & GM bankruptcies) with sales dropping by 50%. Manage strong actions in terms of reducing cost and headcounts. Transfering production to downsize several sites.
• Make the quotations of new businesses (process, labor costs & investments).
• Ensure the launch of new awarded programs following the Faurecia Program Management System (PMS).
• Manage experts’ network and support the plants in improving their performance and manage process innovations projects & process standardization.
• Develop a Maintenance network in order to improve maintenance performance and reduce cost.
• Manage division capital budget (20 M USD) & strategic footprint evolution

Lead a Global GM program with a turnover of 200 ME over 5 years in 6 countries (Thailand (Greenfield), Brazil, South Africa + 3 sites with local partners (Egypt, Ecuador, Kenya)). The product development is done in GMBrazil. Complete responsibilities of the business plans in all sites, to pass all program gates (technical, quality, purchasing, supply chain, financial, contracts, costing, etc..), manage prototypes builds, negotiate all engineering changes with customer and report the program to 3 division regional VP and to ESPG executives in a monthly basis. Program audited by the Faurecia Quality VP on gate 1 and awarded 90% with “best in the world in Faurecia group”. Position “frozen” in Dec 08 because GM has postponed the Start of Production (SOP) by 1 year.
