Apres avoir survecu a l'hiver de la "windy city", les affaires reprennent...

Je travaille maintenant pour UOP LLC a Des Plaines, a cote de O'Hare, comme project manager dans leur division Modular plants. UOP appartient au groupe Honeywell, dans leur division Specialty Materials.
C'est un acteur incontournable en raffinerie, et le leader mondial (et souvent l'inventeur) de plusieurs procedes clefs.
Le groupe Modular plants est en charge de la realisation des unites de platforming, de regeneration continue de catalyseur, et de traitement de gas.
En moyenne les projets sont compris entre 10 et 30 M USD, et impliquent une equipe d'une quinzaine de personnes en interne.

Je suis detenteur d'un visa L2 et d'une autorisation de travail aux USA (EAD).

Profil generaliste, et international donc,
Domaine de connaissance: technologies de procedes de genie chimique (chimie, agro, petrole, gaz).

    2005 - 2007 "Petreco International is a worldwide market leader in cutting edge technology for liquid/liquid and liquid/solid separation for the oil production and refining industries, as well as gas treating and processing".
    Petreco is part of Cameron process division: www.c-a-m.com, which also includes Drilling and production systems, Valves & measurement, and Compression systems departments.
    Cameron is a big player in the exploration and oil&gas treatment.

    As a project manager, I execute packaged installations contracts both for off-shore and in-shore fields, mainly abroad (producing countries). Projects range from 1 to 5M USD, I handle 2 to 3 projects at a time.

The company now focuses on specialty mechanical engineering - especially process engineering and equipment. The GEA Group is one of the world's market and technology leaders in 90 percent of its businesses.

    GEA's process division includes the two world leaders in drying and evaporating technologies: Niro (spray drying, fluidised bed, evaporation) and Barr Rosin (flash dryer, tumble dryer).

    I worked for Niro in France and Barr Rosing in the UK as a project manager to execute contracts between 500 kEUR and 3M EUR, both in France and abroad.
  • Nestle, Beauvais, (France) - R&D Project manager

    1997 - 2000 R&D project manager in product and process development. Product domain: frozen food, ice creams. Processes: freezing, secondary refrigerant and heat exchange technologies.

    Achievements: product launches, several patents filed.
  • Atofina, Cambridge (U.K.) - R&D Project manager

    1995 - 1997 This experience extends from engineering school internship to the end of french military service (served as a civilian)

    I managed a joint research effort between Atofina Pau, France, King of Prussia, USA, and the chemical engineering department of the university of Cambridge, U.K.

    This program led to the writing and filing of a patent on latex emulsions coagulation.
