En résumé

As a Designer-Project Manager, I have gained years of experience working for Luxury companies, across different discipline including Interior Design for Yacht, Hospitality & High End residential, Fashion Haute Couture, as well as Architecture and Urban projects.

I have always been working in close relationship with Designers & Architects, as well as manufacturer and production teams, being deeply involved in all phases of the project, from its development in meeting the client to its production and completion on site. This way of working shaped my ability to communicate and manage projects in collaboration with a wide range of people from different background, overseeing all the aspects of research and development, production process, and market.

My strong interest for Design, manufacturing process and new technologies, encourage me to look for work experiences in various sectors. As I am always eager to learn and discover new fields and different ways of working, I have completed in 2018 a Master in Lighting Design and New Technology (AAU, Copenhagen), while working as a Lighting Designer in Paris.

    2017 - 2018 Assisting on the Lighting design development for architectural, landscape and urban projects, in collaboration with architects and landscape designers : concept development, follow up and management of all the concept stages, technical drawing and plans, lighting calculation, budget planning.

  • TAI PING CARPETS UK - LONDON - SENIOR TEXTILE DESIGNER / PROJECT MANAGER - YACHT & AIRCRAFT DIVISION

    2012 - 2016 DESIGN DEVELOPMENT : RUG & CARPET
    Developement of luxury bespoke carpets and rugs for Residential, Hopistality/ Commercial, Yacht and Aircraft markets. (Axminster, Hand-Tufted, Past-Tufted, Carpet Tiles)
    Working in close liaison with the Factory (China) to develop new designs and samples

    PROJECT MANAGEMENT
    Working in partnership with sales in converting design solution into orders.
    Working in close relationship with Interior Designers, Architectes through creating innovative solution from the earliest design phase until installation.
    Providing design layout to scale in architectural rendering (flooded floor plan: Hotel, Casino, Cruise ships... )
    Managing, following the production in close liaising with the factory in China

    TREND FORECASTING
    Creating a regular and focused inspirational design galleries from pattern and color trend research through development, which can be used as a support for the sales department.

    DESIGN DEVELOPMENT : FABRIC & EMBROIDERY
    Developing collections of highest quality fabric for Haute-Couture and Luxury RTW: fabrics developments, design (CAO) and colour researches for prints, laser cut, embroidery and Jacquard designs.

    Assisting the Head of design and design team in creative and organizational task related for the collections and embroidery developments : inputs for trends and creatives researches, preparing internal graphic presentation as mood boards, visuals for themes, trends researches.

    PROJECT MANAGEMENT
    Managing the smooth running of the whole project, from samples to final embroidered model
    Liaising with suppliers and designers with problem solving approach in textile and embroidery development

    SOURCING
    Sourcing of embroidery materials (France, India, Japan), ordering samples, price negotiation, new and specific material developement.

    ARCHIVE & NEW SAMPLES ORGANISATION
    Classification and setting up of a data base for the Hurel embroidered swatches from 1870 to now.

  • NOBILIS - Colour and Material Designer / Developer

    2007 - 2008 DESIGN DEVELOPEMENT & SOURCING
    Design & Developement of furnishing fabric and wall covering according for the high end market, according to the Design Director's brief: fabrics developments, design (CAO) and colour research for prints, embroidery, Jacquard designs, and wallpapers.

    Sourcing and liaising with manufacturers, handling development, production and quality control (France, Italy, India, China...)

    TREND FORECASTING
    Trends and creative research, preparing mood, colour and material boards

  • Ronan et Erwan Bouroullec - Assistante Designer (Stage - 6 mois)
