As an assistant to a financial controller, my mission consisted in assessing the estimated results by business line as well as reporting the definitive results to the CFO on a monthly basis for the French perimeter.
My main contributions :
- Editing a comprehensive financial pack for the estimated results which gathers the key business indicators by business line ;
- Improving the quality of reporting trough Excel modelisation and continuous improvement of all kinds ;
- Enriching the financial pack with targetted indicators and relevant analysis ;
- Drafting and documenting the internal processes.
This 6 month internship allowed me above all to confirm my interest for the banking industry and to reinforce my analytical skills in accounting and finance.
